Disasterous ending to the nite, 0-3 in the late games You know sooner or later the favs are gonna come out in full force. Getting sick of being stuck between +25 and +35 units the last 3 weeks, need a good showing on Friday. Played 2 overnite......

Couldn't find out whether Theodore or Hackett's in goal. If Hackett's in, this will be a strong play. NJ's recent play doesn't warrant being such a big fav.

Avs ML+130x2
Avs are in 3/4 situation, but so are the Stars, who are in 3/4, and 4/6. Roy is rested for this game. 7 of the last 10 between these 2 were decided by 1 goal or less. Blake left tonite's game early with bruised knee, but I expect him back for this game. I think this game means more to the Avs than the Stars. Aebischer has never played the front end of a B2B game, so for Roy to sit out vs Nash, you can see that how big this game is to the Avs, even this early in the season.

p.s. Avs will be in 4/6 in 2 days, if they have a good showing tonite. Will be a prime let down spot for them @ Phoenix. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Yeah, bro. That was fawking bullchit. Changed the whole complexion of the game, not to mention my bankroll. Argh!!!

Still loved the effort by the Kings, they don't give up. But I'm not sure all these bad breaks on top of the long road trip is good for their psyche. Laying off of the Kings until 2nd home game after the trip, unless we get a ridiculous line.

BTW, I still have a T-Shirt I wore to the Kings/Oiler playoff game in '90 that says "Fawk the Oilers". Still vividly remember that goal by Krushelnyski (?sp) that knocked them out. OHHH YEAAAAAH!

Grew up in LA, bleed Dodger blue. Die-hard Kings fan, was crushed to see Bourque traded to the B's without playing one game...then Gretz....then Luc......then Blake. Moved to Indiana (Purdue Boilermaker.....see Avatar), and then Illinois for school. Got married and settled down in Chicago. Planning on moving back to SoCal in the next few yrs. Can't wait.

Gonna get ripped for this, but what the hell.......Lakers 4-PEAT!!!!!
