Thank you for giving our military what they need to succeed in this mission.

Thank you for letting the American people know that America is not a country to be messed with. You have united us after September 11 and have acted appropriately in ever action. You have given us a country to truly be proud of.

I stand behind you 100% in this war. Now free our country of terror.

God Bless America, Our Troops, and Their Family's

How true. The only thing the leaders of the Middle East understand is fear. Even our supposed "allies" in the past have laughed at us and scorned us, perceiving us weak. Mr. Bush is out to change that perception.

I agree. I hope he has the force in him to stay the course and not come home early as we did before. One thing Im not sure of is what he gave our military. Im not sure what they didn't have already. Our Military has been second to no ones since WWII. Bythe end of WWII we were the leader.

uhhhmm... how about "the green light"?

The Marines are loose in Iraq, goddamn I get goose bumps just thinking about it.

best analogy I can come up with is:

Imagine a 150 pound pit bull chained to a fence post for a days on end... the neighbor kids tossing rocks at it every so often and feed it minimally.

Now take the doggy off the leash.

from what I heard(crediable source I would say)

they are yet to actually get that FULL green light - because - of 9 volt batteries. YES thats right, 9 volt battaries. Makes sense...here`s why. When the US attacks at night, you wanna make sure not to attack your own or the allies, so for that to happen they have a light of somesort on the Humvees and all the other vehicles to identifile themselves. Well these lights run off of a 9 volt battery and are only good for 10 hours or so. So you must keep changing it. Well, they didnt have the necessary supply of 9 volt batteries - and they are being rushed overseas right now

just heard everybody is in MOP 4 gear  for those who dont know what this is...be happy :p its like carrying another 100 pounds on yourself PLUS wearing your mask PLUS carrying your rucksack all in this hot ass weather(well its night now).

Cant imagine trying to shoot an M16 overthere....prolly get jammed everytime with all the sand. US needs new anti-sand weapons...

I feel for the troops....good luck to them

I support our troops and our country 100%. Can we ever be sure there will be no terrorism? I hope so, I would love to be able to travel the world with no threat.

Great post & nicely said, Snake

ssd,

Agree with you 100%

Saw ex-cia chief, Mosely(sp?), on Hardball & he feels that the troops should take care of syria & iran while they are in the neighborhood.

Hellah,

What happened in 1983?

His reasoning was that these countries are aiding terrorists.

BTW,

I don't know if you are aware that the person you are quoting, Robert Byrd, was a member of the kkk ?

Doc thanks for at least saying it the right way. He was in the KKK. Not he is in the KKK. But do be some what carefull you could offend someones Dad here. Infact lots of Dads. Remember up to the late 60''s half the men in the south were in the KKK. Yes I know many would never say they were. But history tells us it is true. Hey I can remember 1959/60 when I was stationed in Norfolk. The signs still said colord to the back of the bus. Colored use this bathroom. Colored sit on this side of the theater. And so on. One of my better buddies could not even go in same bar with me. They would ask him to leave. Did not matter if he was in uniform. He was told to leave. So me and some of his other friends went to a colored bar to drinkwith him. We were welcomed there. Now I guess you will call me a colored lover. I know your a little younger then me. But just to let you know much of south USA were ass holes to the colored into the late 60's. So Bird was just one of the good old boys then. But if you ask him now what he thinks and he wil tell you he was a fool.

Vegas baby!
all this praise????

all this praise????

since when is it acceptable to promote imperialism?

everyone who is convinced that this is a just conflict needs to check into the deal that was just struck with Halliburton Inc..

the oil company was just given the contract to take over the oil wells in Iraq. this is the same halliburton that paid Dick Cheney, yes the vice president, $25 million a few years back and is almost certainly still on the payroll.

CORRUPTION AT ITS FINEST!

this fight is crap and honorable soldiers on both sides are the victims.
