Don't let your ignorance cloud your judgement. This will be a good game and I'm not sure who will come out on top, but theres no way it will be a blowout. Alabama is playing better at the moment but SIU has been solid all year.

i dont think theres any question siu is the most overrated at-large team in the tournament (or perhaps the least deserving)

southern illinois was a great team LAST year. they were expected to be down this year, played over their heads but then struggled down the stretch and came down to earth.

their toughest opponent this season was freakin nc charlotte

Well then we`ll just let my ignance lead to the cage to collect.

Should be able to shag a bit of value as SI is one of those "glam" schools out of a smaller conference that jon q pubic is in luv with.

I will take the team that played THE TOUGHEST SCHEDULE IN THE NATION anyday on a short line.

Took the words right out of my mouth, SIU really struggled late. I did quite well playing against them, I do feel that N. Iowa from the MVC may hang aroung with GT. N. Iowa displayed a knack for playing over their heads when the occasion called for a huge effort.

Hack was clearly on the right side in this contest as was I. Bama had 10pt lead at half (despite S. Illinois shooting great behind arc in 1st half). In the 2nd half S. Illinois went crazy behind the arc. Remember, S. Illinois is not a 3pt shooting team and they shot 12-22, 54% behind the arc. That is unbelievable. In addition, S. Illinois best player had a career game. S. Illinois still lost this game by 1pt. If Brooks did not make that "floating" shot with 10sec. left, Bama prob. would have covered the -2 and Hack would have won. Just bad luck for Bama backers and good luck for S. Illinois backers. Bama easily should have won this game by 8+pts.

I completely agree with Bama being the play. I had $500 on the Bama Money Line myself. I just didn't agree with him saying that Bama was going to decimate the Saluki's. I had Bama winning by 5-7. I'm sorry that the Bama backers lost a tough one, but I think Hack and his cocky attitude got what it deserved. Bama shot 50% from the 3 point line also.
