Got a feeling on this one...could be a dangerous play, but I like it for some reason.

Going with the Knicks ML:

100/220

Good Luck

The Knicks are a risky proposition no matter what the stakes, but it's only for a C-note. Despite my debacle last week, it's not going to break the bank. Now if I was throwin' down the bankroll on this play, I'd have to get my head examined...we'll see how it turns out. I'll achieve status as an oracle for calling this one right or I will look like a chump if it's wrong...been a chump anyway the past week plus so it's no skin off my ass. :moon:

Good luck guys :D

I understand your line of thinking on the Knicks here as a moneyline play.....a close game, could go down to a toss-up and final basket in the closing seconds. I was thinking that too, then saw the Knicks record the last three weeks which just gets worse with each game......not a single performance in there worth a damn, unless you call beating the Carterless Raptors and the Hawks by 3 as impressive wins. Otherwise, they have lost 9 of 11. Sure, they will get up for rival Miami, but Heat coming off that debacle in Phil last night are going to be in a foul mood, playing well...they also get some additional incentive tonight with Anthony Carter coming off a horrible game (first game back from injury he was booed by home fans), and Alonzo Mourning who should drill the Knicks. My BEST BETS are a rather unimpressive .500 this season, but I made it a strong play because these are two teams going in completely opposite directions, in addtion to Miami having some addtional incentive to win coming off the Sixers loss.

Hope this explains my thinking on the matchup.

Saw your write up and understand your thinking. I hate to go against you in this spot because I completely agree with where you are coming from. Before I placed the wager, I did have reservations about the inside play of the Knicks and how Zo will be a dominating force inside. I'd be the first one to say that I'm probably playing this game for all of the wrong reasons. The Knicks really only have 2 offensive threats, one of which (Spree) is utterly inconsistent and is either hit or miss, literally. I'm counting on Miami being a bit fatigued because of travel and perhaps a little dejected because of the loss at Philly. While it's a nice little position for a rebound tonight against the Knicks, I also think the Knicks can sneak away with a tight W here as well. It will take big games by both Spree and Houston to help the Knicks here. If one of these guys are off, my play doesn't hold much water. Respect your abilities and by no way am I fading you by playing this. Thanks for the feedback and good luck.

Nothing wrong with fading my plays, my man. Had you done that in the NFL last year, you'd be rich!

Asuming Miami can't cover, I hope they get their asses blown off and you cash your moneyline ticket. If it's tied late, I'll be rooting for you. :)

I've never seen a team give up like the Knicks...put the play aside...the Knicks are just awful. I don't regret making the play but how does a team score 3 points in nearly 8 minutes? They just suck.

the knicks are by far the worst excuse for an NBA team I have ever seen. How do you go from playing rather well to a junior high team.
I apologize to anyone who followed me on this play. This will the last time I touch a knicks game this year.

I'm sitting here nearly speechless still. I took the Knicks for the 1st half and won, but they almost found a way to blow a fairly decent sized lead in about 2 minutes or so. The Knicks looked very good for 3 quarters and that was it. I was going to play the Heat big in the 2nd half, but didn't. Keep in mind that the Heat pulled away with some ridiculous 28-3 run or something to that effect WITHOUT Alonzo Mourning...same here...will not play the Knicks or a Knick game the rest of the year.

mebbe u can take bigger play .. i would love to take it but am sticking with the original unit play

Hard luck man .. had them also .. things looked good after third quarter .. also no timeouts by the coach .. thats why i hate him .. i think he is just making money as long as he is there since he has no chance of coming back

Hope the under hits

Cheers !!!

The game sucked, both teams suck. Watching these guys go through the motions made me tired sittin on the couch. At least Maimi shows some sack now and then. The Bricks are mailing it in. Having the game take place in Miami doesn't help either. "The dead zone". It was so quiet, I could swear I heard a guy in row 38, Section C, seat 12 reading.

If it wasn't for the Chuck-wagon, the game would have been virtually entertainment free.

And that's all I've got to say about that.

Dragon, how many times have I said don't fool with the Knicks. Yet, I screwed around yesterday and played them. That's 2 days in a row that I have been my own worst enemy. Good luck today.
