I understand your line of thinking on the Knicks here as a moneyline play.....a close game, could go down to a toss-up and final basket in the closing seconds. I was thinking that too, then saw the Knicks record the last three weeks which just gets worse with each game......not a single performance in there worth a damn, unless you call beating the Carterless Raptors and the Hawks by 3 as impressive wins. Otherwise, they have lost 9 of 11. Sure, they will get up for rival Miami, but Heat coming off that debacle in Phil last night are going to be in a foul mood, playing well...they also get some additional incentive tonight with Anthony Carter coming off a horrible game (first game back from injury he was booed by home fans), and Alonzo Mourning who should drill the Knicks. My BEST BETS are a rather unimpressive .500 this season, but I made it a strong play because these are two teams going in completely opposite directions, in addtion to Miami having some addtional incentive to win coming off the Sixers loss.
Hope this explains my thinking on the matchup.
