New York Giants at Denver Broncos
Thursday, 8:20 pm Eastern ? NFL Network

The New York Giants and Denver Broncos are both 6-4 but the vibe surrounding each team is much different. The Giants are just a game back of Dallas in the NFC East while the Broncos are a game back of San Diego in the AFC West. New York though is considered a serious threat to the Cowboys while the Broncos proved last week they are no threat to the Chargers. These two teams meet in prime time on Thanksgiving night in game that can be seen on the NFL Network.

New York is a 6 point favorite with a total of 42 at SBG Global.

Denver started the season 6-0 but they have lost their last four games and rarely have the games been close. They were blown off the field last week in a 32-3 loss to San Diego. They have been outscored 117-37 in their last four losses and they haven?t even scored an offensive TD in their last two home games. "I think the good thing is for a team in our situation, coming off a tough division game, is obviously we didn't play nearly the way we wanted to and on a four-game losing streak, we are eager to get back on the field and play again," head coach Josh McDaniels said. "This might be a good time for our team."

The Giants started 5-0 this season before losing four straight. They bounced back last week though to win in overtime against Atlanta. Although the Giants won the game against Atlanta they still had problems. They allowed 24 points in the second half against Atlanta. "I think we have done very well in certain situations, but we haven't played as well as I think we can," defensive end Osi Umenyiora said.

Here are the NFL betting stats for Thursday?s game. The Giants are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as a road favorite. The Giants are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

The Broncos are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 home games. The Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.

The Over is 3-1-1 in the Giants last 5 road games. The Under is 10-1 in the Broncos last 11 home games. The Under is 5-2 in the Broncos last 7 games in November.

Green Bay Packers (-10.5) at Detroit Lions

This game kicks things off at 12:30 pm ET. Detroit is 0-5 straight-up (SU) and ATS the last five years on Thanksgiving.

Green Bay (6-4 SU, 5-4-1 ATS) has a two-game winning streak, at home against Dallas and San Francisco. The Packers are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings against Detroit.

Detroit (2-8 SU, 2-7-1 ATS) quarterback Matthew Stafford is now doubtful for this game. That would mean a start for Daunte Culpepper. Star receiver Calvin Johnson may also sit out.

Oakland Raiders (+14) at Dallas Cowboys

This is the mid-afternoon, 4:15 pm ET game. Dallas is 3-0 SU and ATS the last three years on Thanksgiving.

Oakland (3-7 SU, 5-5 ATS) is coming off a stunning home win over Cincinnati (20-17). Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski went only 17-for 34 for 183 yards. However, he will continue to be the starter in place of the underachieving JaMarcus Russell.

Dallas (7-3 SU, 5-5 ATS) only managed seven points in a 7-6 home win over Washington last week. Quarterback Tony Romo has a bad back, but he will play and try to improve the offense.

New York Giants (-6) at Denver Broncos

This is the Thanksgiving night game at 8:20 pm ET. Make sure not to eat too much turkey and fall asleep, because it should be a great one.

New York (6-4 SU, 4-5-1 ATS) had a huge 34-31 overtime win over Atlanta last week. A loss would have been a big blow to its playoff hopes. Still, the Giants are 0-5 ATS in their last five games.

Denver (6-4 SU, 6-4 ATS) is 0-4 SU and ATS in the last four games and they need quarterback Kyle Orton (ankle) healthy. Orton says he is ready to go, but expect him at less than 100%.

Oakland Raiders at Dallas Cowboys
Thursday, 4:15 pm Eastern ? CBS

The Dallas Cowboys host the Oakland Raiders on Thanksgiving afternoon and on paper the Cowboys have the serious advantage. The problem with Dallas though, is that they don?t always show up. The Cowboys needed a late touchdown pass from Tony Romo to just barely escape with a 7-6 win against Washington on Sunday. They shouldn?t need such heroics on Thursday but the Raiders will be coming into this game with some confidence after upsetting Cincinnati last week.

Dallas is a 13.5 point favorite with a total of 40 at SBG Global.

Oakland has actually won six of the nine all-time meetings against the Cowboys including the last three. The teams last met in 2005 as the Raiders won 19-13 at home. Oakland is playing on Thanksgiving Day for the first time since 1970. The Raiders are 3-2 all-time in NFL betting Thanksgiving Day games.

Last week the Raiders shocked the Cincinnati Bengals 20-17 as quarterback Bruce Gradkowski made his first start as a Raider and threw the game-tying TD pass to Louis Murphy late in the fourth quarter. The Bengals fumbled the ensuing kickoff and the Sebastian Janikowski hit the game wining field goal.

The Cowboys survived against Washington last week but quarterback Tony Romo has a sore back while tight end Jason Witten has a foot injury and linebacker Keith Brooking is dealing with an ankle injury. Those injuries look minor though and Dallas will want to play better than they did last week against the Redskins. "It's definitely going to be good for us to come out Thursday and be sharp, and be crisp," Patrick Crayton said. "It's got to look like we're really doing something out there. We've got to finish drives, whether it be with a field goal or a touchdown. We'd prefer six, but as long as we get some kind of points it's a successful drive."

Here are the NFL betting stats for Thursday?s game. The Cowboys are 4-0 ATS in their last four Thursday games. The Cowboys are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games in November. The Cowboys are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a home favorite.

The Under is 12-3-1 in the Raiders last 16 games in November. The Under is 5-2-1 in the Raiders last eight road games. The Under is 4-1 in the Cowboys last five games in November

What bettors need to know: Raiders at Cowboys

Oakland Raiders at Dallas Cowboys (-13.5, 40.5)

Dallas (7-3) hosts its traditional Thanksgiving Day game on Thursday, this time against the lowly Oakland Raiders (3-7).

After compiling a mediocre 2-2 record through their first four games of the season, the Cowboys have climbed to first place in the NFC East by winning five of their past six contests. Oakland ended a three-game skid last Sunday by upsetting the surprising Cincinnati Bengals.

Line movement

The line has been consistent all week long. Some shops opened 14 before dropping to 13.5, while others have remained at 13.5 from start to finish. The total is hanging around 40 to 40.5.

Injury report

Dallas tight end Jason Witten, who has 54 catches this season (19 more than any other Cowboy), is questionable with a sprained foot.

?I won't say it's severe, but it's something that worries us about him being able to play this week,? coach Wade Phillips said on Tuesday.

Quarterback Tony Romo (back) and running back Marion Barber (thumb) are banged up, but both will start.

The Raiders are in slightly better shape, although defensive tackle Richard Seymour left last week?s win over Cincinnati in the first quarter with a lower back strain. He is listed as questionable.

Bruce Almighty

JaMarcus Russell never materialized since being selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. Prior to last week?s game against the Bengals, Oakland finally decided that enough was enough and gave backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski his first start of the season.

The decision paid off in the form of an improbable comeback victory. Gradkowski completed 17-of-34 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns while throwing just one interception. He also led the Raiders on a game-tying 80-yard drive late in the fourth quarter, capping it off with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Louis Murphy with 33 seconds left.

Happy Thanksgiving

The Cowboys are a solid but unspectacular 26-14-1 in their Thanksgiving Day history. While that record may be unimposing, they have won three in a row for the first time since a three-game streak between 1994 and 1996.

Most encouraging for Dallas is the fact that none of its past three Thanksgiving opponents have managed to be competitive. The Cowboys hammered Tampa Bay 38-10 in 2006, crushed the New York Jets 34-3 a year later, and most recently rolled over Seattle 34-9.

Dallas is 4-1 against the spread over the last five years on Turkey Day and 13-6 in its last 19 outings on Thanksgiving.

Offensive fouls

Although Gradkowski breathed life into the Raiders offense last week, the unit still ranks dead last in the NFL with a paltry 227.3 yards per game. Oakland is also last?with room to spare?in passing offense, averaging 125 yards per contest.

While Dallas registers at fifth in the league in total offense, Romo and company have been struggling of late. The Cowboys have gone three consecutive games without scoring more than 20 points, and they have put up only seven in each of their last two outings.

Newman vs. Campo or Pacquiao vs. Mayweather?

Jerry Jones, interested in bringing the potential fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather to Cowboys Stadium, saw a bout of a different sort last Sunday.

Cornerback Terrence Newman and secondary coach Dave Campo engaged in a heated shouting and shoving match, but it had already become a joking matter days later.

?It's going down,? Newman said. ?It's going to happen in Vegas. We'll have Jerry promoting.?

Extra points

The Raiders are 4-2 ATS this year when they get at least seven points, including 2-1 ATS when they get more than 10 points.

The Cowboys are 0-1 ATS when they give more than 10 points. They were 11-point favorites last week at home against the Redskins, but needed a late touchdown to pull out a 7-6 victory.

Sharp action coming in on Broncos and Aggies

Sharp action coming in on Broncos and Aggies

Sharp action coming in on Broncos and Aggies

New York Giants at Denver Broncos

Line/total: We opened Giants -6.5 and took significant early money on the favorite. We moved rather aggressively off that money and went Giants -7. After going to 7, sharp money came in on the dog and we went back to 6.5. Since then, we've seen a bit more Bronco money and are now using 6 on the game.

We opened the total at 42 and all the early action is on the over. Nearly 75 percent of the action is on the over and we've gone to 42.5 based on that action.

Key Injuries:

Giants - RB Ahmad Bradshaw has been downgraded to doubtful. RB Brandon Jacobs has been upgraded to probable. OG Rich Seubert and WR Hakeem Nicks were both injured last game and are aboth questionable. LB Antonio Pierce is out indefinitely.

Broncos - DB Brian Dawkins and QB Kyle Orton are both probable. RB LaMont Jordan and OL Ryan Harris are both expected to miss tonight's game.

Comments: About five weeks ago, these two teams looked like possible Super Bowl contenders. Since then, each team has struggled big time.

The Giants started their season 5-0, both SU and ATS, but went on to lose four straight games. They beat the Falcons, but failed to cover last weekend.

The Broncos season has been flipped upside down since improving to 6-0 back in Week 6. Four straight losses have been accompanied by four straight non-covers. They've been completely blown out in their four losses, losing by an average of 20 points a game.

Prop of the game: Eli Manning (Giants) total passing yards - 230.5

No. 2 Texas at Texas A&M

Line/total: We opened Texas -22.5 and sharp money came on the dog on Monday afternoon. We moved Longhorns to -21.5 and eventually to 21, where line still currently stands. Money is starting to show for Texas and I believe we'll be going back to 21.5 as we get closer to game time.

We opened the total 62.5 and have seen mostly over money so far. About 70 percent of the action is on the over and we've gone to 63 based on that action.

Key Injuries:

Texas - WR John Chiles, DT Calvin Howell and OG Mason Walters have all been downgraded to doubtful. RB DJ Monroe is questionable. CB Aaron Williams is probable

Texas A/M - DB Marcus Gold is out indefinitely

Comments: Aggies junior quarterback Jerrod Johnson has been phenomenal this season tossing 24 touchdown passes against only five interceptions.

Problem with Texas A&M in 2009 is it defense. The unit ranks dead last in points allowed in the Big 12, surrending 31.2 points a contest.

Texas QB Colt McCoy has only thrown one interception over his past four games, and has a completion percentage of 73 percent on the year. Texas is just two wins (Nebraska is next in the Big 12 Championship Game) away from the BCS National Championship Game.

These two teams have split their last two meetings, with Texas winning and covering last year as 35-point favorites. The previous year, A&M won outright at Kyle Field as 7-point underdogs.

Prop of Game: Colt McCoy (Texas) total touchdown passes - 2.5
