Is it me?

Is it me?

Correct me if I am wrong here, but any upstanding book that I know would give you no action on the third part of that parlay and pay that baby at two-team parlay odds. IMO, you are getting screwed if they are only giving your money back. What book is that from? You need to check their rules carefully.

thats what i was thinking. but if it got cancelled BEFORE any of the 3 games started, then not much of a gripe. but any book that cancels it after the 1st games start is in the wrong imo.

Thanks JC,

I was hoping to get some feedback on this. It's never happened to me before and I was upset about not getting something out of it. The book I use is caribsports. I haven't read their rules but I'm assuming they'll give me the old run around how they can cancel any wager at any time defense.

:(

I don't see what time the games went off affecting this wager at all. As long as you put the parlay in before the first game went off, it seems clear to me that you should be paid for the two you won with that were placed prior to those games going off. I have never been in this exact situation, but I know that when I push one wager, that equals no action on that part of the parlay, but if the others win it is still a winning ticket, only with the reduced payout. Why would a PPD be any different?? Once again, my opinion is that you are getting screwed no matter what time that game was cancelled.

well here's the deal. They didn't decide to reimburse me until both of my other plays were OVER with. So I'm guessing they were waiting on the outcome of those 2 games as an advantageous edge. Had either of those 2 teams lost, I'm sure they would have surely deducted my wager amount.

I haven't contacted them yet, going to wait until tomorrow morning. I'm sure I'll be screwed regardless. But I WILL let them know how I feel about the matter.

That is shady - I had a play on App St and was refunded around 1 pm yesterday est (@ pinn). If you were not refunded before tip, you should get a 2 team parlay win - cause you can bet your a$$ if Providence or W Carolina didn't cover you would have lost that wager.

  That doesn't make any sense to me. I bet out of a rinky dink bookie and I would have been paid for the two teamer. It doesn't make any sense that they would not pay you for the two team winner unless they re-paid your wager prior to the tip of any of the games. Because it doesn't sound like they did that, I would expect to get paid!!!!

You are getting screwed. If they're a sponsor here, I'd talk to Jack. This has happened to me several times in baseball, and the posponed game is always graded as NO ACTION/PUSH, and then you are paid at the new odds.

they graded it as No Action, which is not the same as a Push correct? I just sent them a memo, so I'm waiting for a response.

But YES, they refunded the wager AFTER the other 2 games ended, which is obvious what they had in mind.

I just cashed out 2/3 of my account last night. This book is terrible, and not just because of this incident.

OK, just got a reply. I didn't bother to check my balance as I got on this morning but they did correct the issue overnight and I was credited a win for a 2 team parlay.

I'm still switching books because carib's halftime lines have to be the worst ever. They do not post halftime lines unless a game is nationally televised and even then, they are the last book to post the lines.

anyone know how long it takes for a Fed Ex package to arrive from Belize?

thanks guys for all the help! ;)

For what it is worth, that should be reduced to a two-teamer. let me guess if it would lost one of those winners they would have charged you. :142hump:
