Hmmmmm....I would disagree with Detroit being on this list, as per the corresponding comment.

I was just there and all the locals we interacted with were terrific!

Peace! :)

What Joker neglected to mention is that all big cities have murder and rape. In addition the $1.00 house was one of the smartest things Detroit ever did. What the buyer had to do was pay all the back taxes and bring the house up to code and make it livable. Very smart move Detroit.

Joker is just negative about Detroit because he doesn't like me.............

Detroit sells homes for a dollar. They also have a lot of murder and some rape. You should see a medical doctor.

I am certain that there's some logic and rationale behind the selling of houses for a dollar, and one that makes sense for the city.

Murder and rape are part and parcel of the majority of American cities, as well as many major metropolises worldwide. One just has to learn how to navigate and deal.

No need. I haven't changed and am just as normal/abnormal as I was prior to the weekend. But, thank you for your concern.

Peace! :)

You should have looked me up...............where did you eat?

I don't think that I can afford the glamour and magnificence that is Royal Oaks. LOL

We were mostly in the downtown area. And regardless of place, we always try to eat similar to the natives. So Fri night was Lafayette Coney Island dogs and chili fries, Sat brunch was Haz's corned beef sandwich and broasted chicken, and Sat night was Comerica Park junk food!!! LOL

Peace! :)

I would have suggested Roast in the Book Cadillac Hotel. But I see what you did and I'm familiar with all the places except Haz's, never been. Glad you had fun, Comerica Park is awesome.

I think they must come up with these reports based on fat white boys getting stuck up or raped walking around the city drunk looking for $1.00 homes.

Hard too believe no city in the "Deep South" made the list. People up North & in the Media tell us we are all "Backwards" & "Racists"?!!? Guess it must be because we took down the Confederate Flag.
