In away its to bad. Seems we do have folks that just cant wait to bite some one in the behind. But will fall all over other folks that are doiing nothing differant then Ace. Guess I dont get it. I did not care what hisname was. I dont see tomany here useing there real handle. Did I like his love for him self. Not really. But on the other hand he was backing his mouth up. Guess some you real good cappers could have waited to jump him after he lost one in the colleges.
Some folks just dont like competetion.

i have been around these sites for along time, iam just not a big poster, however, with ace all i saw was a guy giving out winners, i didnt see anyone touting or scamming anyone, just an over confident guy backing up his over confidence with winning plays, and he gets run for that!!!! WHATS UP WITH THAT

I certainally appreciated all the winners he posted, but since I am still relatively new around here I am gonna guess there was more to this than meets the eye, especially since Kosar pointed out that the majority of his biggest followers had less posts than even I do.

i PERSONALLY DONT THINK THE NUMBER OF POST HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT,I, FOR EXAMPLE, HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THESE SITES FOR YEARS AND HAVE NOT POSTED, HOWEVER, I HAPPEN TO CATCH ACE AT THE BEGINNING OF HIS RUN AND FELT HE WAS WORTHY OF POSTING TO SINCE HE WAS DOING SO WELL. AFTER HITTING AROUND HIS 8TH IN A ROW I STARTED POSTING HE EARNED IT WITH THE RUN HE HAD, AND THERE WAS NOTHING MORE TO MY LACK OF POSTING OTHER THEN THAT HE EARNED IT. I THINK HE ATTRACTED THE ATTENTION OF ALOT OF NEW POSTERS FOR THAT EXACT SAME REASON.

I don't know the whole story either, not sure I even care to. I enjoy the general forum, I think there's alot of great info and lots of entertaining sh*t but mostly I come here to get whatever info I can to get an edge on the books. I'll miss his posts, like him or not he accomplished what most people come here in the first place for. He won. And I know I may not have a hell of alot of posts but I've been around long enough to know there aren't many that can say that here. Regardless of how many posts they have.:shrug:

For those of you who are new or those with short memories, I assume Ace is the same guy who posted as The Kennedy Experiment in baseball last year. The same damn' thing happened. He came in and went on a run of about 11-0. He offered sides, but never gave any rational for his picks, just picks. He did hint that he had some fabulous system. He said that he couldn't reveal the details of his handicapping prowess. Of course, who would blame him for that. As with any and all winners, he picked up a nice following - and he should have with the winners he was picking just as he is doing in college hoops now. But after about a week or so of winners, his streak ended and after posting about 3-4 days of losers in a row, he disappeared and was never heard from again. Ah - the life of a tout - on top of the world as long as you are winning. But when faced with day after day of losing picks in baseball, no tears were shed when The Kennedy Experiment disappeared. The drama of it all was great - and the guys that followed him from the start probably made a good score.
