I'm trying very hard to take off my Carolina blinders on this one.

I'm hoping some unbiased folks who are basketball fans and know the rules can tell me I'm not going crazy.

I've been saying this all year, Austin Rivers travels on almost every play. Do you know why he's hard to guard? Because he moves his pivot foot 2-3 times per play. How can a defender stop him when he jab steps right, then jabs left again without dribbling. This may fly in the NBA but it's atrocious that the ACC referees have let this go as blatant as it is.

Looks like you may have a pretty good argument.

Do they still call traveling in basketball. Remember when someone with the ball fell to the floor...that used to be traveling too.

Now they fall and roll around then are given a timeout.

Watch coach k go crazy if Rivers is actually called for moving his pivot foot.

I live in Florida and watched Rivers play throughout high school. You think it's bad now??? You should have seen him in high school! It was INCREDIBLE the liberty refs gave him when he had the ball...you are not going crazy...he WALKS virtually every time he goes to the basket! To further prove my point, check out this video of Rivers playing in a high school all star game:

I think you are a bit biased, this happens everyday in everygame, When I started looking at this way to move about 15 years away, I was stunned nobody was calling the fault, now, I am more then used to it, LeBron James do it in everyplay just to make an example.
