Spin?
If your not picketing recruiting stations--your dissing our resident recruiter.
Please quote the post where I "dissed our resident recruiter"...

I'll put you down as a member of the "pro-nation building, they-hate-us-for-our-freedom believing pack". Let's see... you guys have run up a tab of $3 Trillion (and growing) and you're responsible for the deaths of twice as many American's that died on 9/11.

Yeah, I think I'll stick with the anti-nation building pack... :0008

Perhaps there will come a day in our future, it is a small chance of happening, but I'm holding out hope.

Perhaps there will come a day when it won't be "trendy" anymore to be anti things you don't understand. Perhaps some day people will understand that the world isn't a very nice place. Perhaps some day people we will understand that everything is dependant on other things. That it's impossible to single one act out and use that as the basis of your arguement because everything changes around it.

By the very basis of some of these arguements, America shouldn't exist. It's disappointing to have so little personal accountability to the country that has provided you opportunity.

To those that celebrate it, have a happy 4th of July.

Lets just dumb everyone down. If there wasn't people who had the balls to stand up for what is right this country would be the biggest shithole on earth.

Isn't it nice how the FOX Noize AHHHdeence Claps like a bunch of trained circus seals for Rudy, while not really understand a word Ron Paul has to say. :mj07:

Hannity and his usual tactic, asks a question and then interupts while Paul is trying to answr, but Ron keeps talking ! :0074

Put me down as a member of the "I understand that there are both direct, and indirect benefits and consequences to all our actions and am intelligent enough to realize that there are things bigger than a single individual that must be done to ensure the safety and welfare of the populus. I understand that just because something is not spelled out for me in big bold print how it benefits me, if you take the time to understand how everything fits together, there is a reason for doing it, and that reason is a beneficial one, even though it may not always align with what I think is important to only me."

Nice try, Marine, but you're not dealing with an impressionable young army recruit here, so your "Boogeyman" schtick doesn't work with me.

I understand geopolitics, apparently much better than you do.

After a 2 month absence I have returned to review the political page. Thats neither here nor there but it is refreshing to see TU, Duff and Trench continuing to fight the good fight. Also refreshing to see that Pro appeared nowhere in the topics I took a look at.

BTW: Ann Coulter with a sac was priceless.

Ron Paul is brilliant, a true American that would get my vote in a heartbeat if miraculously he got the rep. nomination. His interests truly mirror the thoughts of people in my circle . So shameful that the majority of the populous of this country resides under the cloak of apathy. As long as that continues, nothing changes.

See you in November :popcorn2

I need to work staying out of here for longer periods of time. It gets old having to deal with morons all the fucking time. Let's face it, they aren't going to get any smarter at this point. I don't see doggie dogshit finally retaking that 2nd grade English class at this point in time. So what is the point?

I've never dealt with an impressionable young army recruit.

Since you seem to understand geopolitics so well, maybe you can help TU. I've asked him a few times now - if we get rid of our military bases overseas, how long will it take before North Korea invades South Korea and fills the streets with blood?

Right now, the presence of our military there is deterring it - but when we pull everything inside the borders, they won't be there. So please, tell me - how long?

South Korea is capable of defending their territory. Their economy is about 50 times the size. The North has nothing but outdated weapons. The South is also twice the size in population. Give me a break. I love it how you would rather pay for this shit instead of paying for some poor American family to have health care. Spare me your BS. Maybe you could get a job there recruiting young kids in South Korea to die too? You don't seem to have a problem doing it here. I'm just trying to help. I would figure with your experience of sending young kids to die you could make some good money over there.

OK, now let's pretend that South Korea is footing a large part of the bill for US Troops being there.

You know, so you're tax dollars that the government screws you out of can go towards something else.

Is it realistic?
Does it change your worldly view? It's not your tax dollars supporting that military base anymore if S. Korea is paying for it. In fact, you could almost say they would be welcoming us there if that were the case, no?

Marine, you don't get the respect you deserve around here and Trampled pickets the funerals of those who served in the military so why speak with this guy who hates America?

Thanks for agreeing to my point that we are spending money to keep men stationed in South Korea. Money we can't afford. At the same time those soldiers are fostering more hatred for America causing more blowback.
