busy with the undercard playing some multi race bets, today is an absolutely great card. one of the best cards in a very long time.

Met Mile is going to be a fantastic race, loaded with talent.

some thoughts on the feature...

I am against Pharoah. Would be great to see a TC winner in my lifetime, but I don't think it happens yet.

Frosted and Materiality are the obvious main contenders with Pharoah. Materiality will be on the lead early. Interesting to see what Pharoah does. Dont think they get cute with him but we will see.

Pletcher has a good track record in this race. Will be keeping an eye on how his other runners do this afternoon.

Really really like the #1 Mubtahij...I think he gets a piece.

couple other long shots I think are really live....Frammento and Keen Ice. do not discount these.

remember, the "fastest" horse on paper rarely wins the Belmont. last horse who was "fastest" on paper to win, was Afleet Alex back in 2005....and before that I think it was 7 years prior to then.

Mclaughlin has been really firing so Frosted has a big chance today...they want to see the track dry out though because the area got some rain this morning. shouldnt rain anymore during the day but hopefully the sun continues to dry out the track to give us a good surface.

I will be spreading quite a bit and hoping for some big scores against Pharoah. I am hoping he finishes off the board completely and the exotics really light up the board.

I will be using Frosted and Mat on top of the field for tris.

I will also DEFINITELY have some tris and other exotics with Mub, Frammento, and Keen Ice finishing on top.

If Pharoah and Mat hook up and are tired, one of those 3 could surge at the end.

Will be a great race. Good luck to everyone.

Will watch the pools as well...likely make some across the board wagers on Mub, Frammento, or Keen Ice....really like all 3 of these.

NICE write up

NICE write up

Great to see somebody who knows their way around a keyboard. Doing your homework for this sport gives you a chance to make it happen in this tough game.

I wouldn't mind seeing that horse you like (just can't look up the spelling AGAIN. LOL) prove the "experts" wrong about the way they brought him up to this race. Ah, just as long as Materiality finishes 2nd :mj07:

Here's another "Remember" fact..... it's very logical to give the late closers the edge in this race that is much longer the the other distance most of them just ran OR EVER RAN. Right? ... Wrong! IMO, give the edge to those that will be on the pace, stalking the leader.

Should be a good, exiciting horse race fosho.

Wow thought it was a mistake going to the lead right out of the gate at a mile and a half but he was never really challenged.

Incredible. had a bad start and all. as soon as Materiality was strung 3-4 wide into the first turn and not able to press I though Pharoah would do it. very easy on the lead, had it all his own way. 6th fastest belmont ever. phenomenal horse, but I am never going to play a 3/5 horse. sure was a treat to watch though.

sure hope he isnt retired immediately but would think that is the most logical move now.

if not, maybe you will see him in the Travers up at the Spa :0074

man I needed any of the 3 that came in behind him in a couple P3s I hit hard and caught that longshot on the turf.

oh well. great day of racing and a great card overall.

July 4th at Belmont should be a nice card as well.
