I was over at Agent's watching the games last night and we both said the same thing at the same time. The entire game had a JV feel to it. From the teams being on the same sideline to the crappy field conditions, but nothing was worse than listening to that dumb broad call the game. She was lost half of the time and I agree with another poster that her color man had to act like he was happy to be in the booth with her. :mj14: :mj14: :mj14:

Jack, I couldn't agree more. I was on the phone with a friend when the game was on and we both said the same thing. . . Pam Ward sucks. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard and her lack of football knowledge is profound. Not once in the game did either announcer mention the fact that GT couldn't keep their feet under them, while Utah didn't seem to be effected by the rotten field conditions. That seemed to be the major difference in the two teams to me. . .but nobody mentioned it. I would have had someone down on the field to check out which spikes were being worn by each team. That was the story to me. Those two were too busy yakking it up about nothing.

In all honesty, there are SEVERAL announcers who I hate way worse than that she-male.

One of the worst is Rod Gilmore. His voice isn't too bad, but everything that comes out of his mouth makes no sense. He's a big know-it-all who knows very little about strategy.
Theres a local guy, Doc Walker, who does ACC games. He uses the word "playmaker" about 50 times a game. He doesn't care anything about strategy or smart footall. He just wants one guy to "want it" more than the other guy every single play. Doesn't matter if its 3rd and inches and they line up in shotgun and throw a bomb....they need a playmaker to do something.

Most announcers I hate are in the NFL. Dierdorf is horrible. ESPN Sunday night crew is worst ever. Not many good ones overall for NFL.
Phil Simms and Enberg are decent. I really liked when Aikman, Buck, and Collinsworth were doing games.
I'm also not a big fan of the "Moose and the Goose", Johnston and Siragusa on the field. I think Dick Stockton is with Moose. I always think about NBA on CBS with Stockton....
