Huskers are moving the right direction. I think the fans however have gotten ahead of themselves. The south is no great shakes and the Huskers would be fighting for 4th. The should win the North as I indicated primarily be default, but they are better than those other teams.

My guess is they will eventually be much better than now, but the academic changes will prevent the Huskers from being the old Huskers.

I was one of those who applauded Ricky Williams and Major Applewhite, as you guys ended a great run of many home wins in a row, the number which is escaping me. Its just to bad UT cant win with the same amount of class. Im not saying UT is not the class of the Big 12 they are, what Im saying is NU is going through the same process UT went through in the late 90s and early 00s. I remember many comments about firing Mack Brown. I was a little typsy last night when I called the Longhorns bitchasses, which is kind of funny, I apologize and look forward to playing them twice this year and establishing NU as a nastional power again. 2006 - RESTORE THE ORDER!! You can say what you want about Zac Taylor and La Tech, but the swagger is back and the Blackshirts have a top 5 front 7, if Bowman doesnt tear his acl, they would have a top 5 defense but now the DBs are too young. We will see.

Not sure how anyone can say UT doesnt win with class. No doubt Texas has some arrogant fans but not the players or coaches. I have to give Nebraska credit - probably the best fans around in the way they treat visitors.

I actually grew up a Nebraska fan. Loved watching Johnny Rodgers and led to the hatred of OU. My 6th birthday present was a Nebrasksa football helmet....but I digress....
