Yeah
You guys should look at signing Rob Johnson again to five years for 25 million and benching benching Bledsoe.

:D

I have seen Management of The bills mess up forever over their play calling and there player decisions.

I would say you are definitely suffering from a little team envy, they need more help than what they got so far that is for sure.

They are improved and no offence, but the coaching decisions and what management does with that team sucks.

Hope they make the playoffs.

I'll tell you one thing, the packers are certainly not on the rise for next season. I'll be surprised if they make playoffs and I guarantee the Bills will! What's rob johnson have to do with anything at this point?

Thought the McGahee pick was puzzling. They already have a very solid RB in Travis Henry. I can't believe they didn't have any other needs.

Bizarre. Henry has some fumble problems, but jeez..not many guys go out and have 1400 yard seasons rushing.

Upgrading that defense or getting a 3rd wide-out for that passing attack would have seemed to make much more sense.

wormdog..ur right about making bad moves like..rob johnson..but then lets remember that was under the late mr butler..who turned this team to a contender than to put them in a big salary cap..which took 2years to get back to a contender thx to donahoe

this team has high expectations here in wny this year i believe season tix are already at a high even with the jim kelly years.

time will tell..but we believe playoffs atleast or bust..and this is not a team that chokes..xcept for superbowls,,,but now given any season any team can win

I was amazed that the Bills had such a great year on defense, especially with a throwing QB like Bledsoe.

They had a lot of question marks, especially on the defensive line.

The stat line (defensive) from last year:

http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/AFC/DEF-TOTAL/2002/regular?sort_col_1=4&_1:col_1=9&_1:col_2=15

The Bills were #3 in the AFC in 3rd down % defense. A terrific job. They were in the upper half in almost every defensive catagory.

After a few good free agent pickups, I think the Bill could easily get in the playoffs this year.

thanks jmizeus, i apprciate it.

i wrote that reply a few months back, and once again the bills did not disappoint ONCE again! they go out and take willis in the FIRST ROUND are you on crack? Travis Henry is Young , 1400 yds, a bunch of catches out of the back field and you go and WASTE that pick?

The team with Bledsoe and add spikes has a chance to win now and you go out and take a guy that is not ready for two years?

dizzytwown, very wise to tell me the pack will not make playoffs with minn, det and chic in division?

i watched the bills bench flutie to play johnson in a year they had a chance to go to bowl, they bench flutie to play johnson against tennesse that year. johnson completes about 6 passes in the game to being winning by 1, then the reverse on kickoff with controversial pass across field from wycheck gives tennessee the game winning td and they fire the whole special teams staff, ANOTHER GREAT MOVE, they dont realize the fact that they had a qb that was not capable of completing a pass without his head band getting in the way and having a big lead would make that play mean nothing.
instead they fire the whole special teams staff?

flutie led them to 10-6?

lets bring in rob nice move

now lets take a back that may be ready in two years, they are retarded?

I wish the bills luck.

they need it.

it is too bad i like drew, they will be lucky to make playoffs, you know why, management will have their chance to fawk it up.

if you would like to have a little wager on green bay vs buff, let me know.

good luck with your stacked team.:moon:

hoops jmizeus valuist you all see the same thing, a waste of a good team, waste of 1st rd pick, i am pissed at management being a canadian watching them fawk flutie in the ass and then picking a scape goat.

the move for bledsoe and spikes was nice but man willis 1st rd????????????????????

they wont be back to bowl for awhile with that crap, three years form now when willis is healthy might be a different story but they will figure a way to screw that up to.

pack rule
wr taking off season serious, no qb drafted cause favre plays til he is forty five and they draft what they need, defence, buffalo should take some notes.

I like the direction that the Bills are headed..... Their offense should be in good shape, especially with Bledsoe having a year under his belt. The loss of P. Price I think hurts especially since they did nothing with the pick to improve the team for the upcoming season. Mcgahee might be a great back someday, but with Henry already in the fold, that pick could have been used for a greater need.

Defense is improving, also. The addition of T. Spikes was a costly move as far as salary goes. As a Bengals fan, I was glad to see him go. The Bengals signed 4 players for the amount Spikes would have cost. He has had injury problems the last couple of seasons, but kept his numbers up, and had more of a me first attitude than a team oriented one. Takeo is a good player, but not great. Don't be surprised if his shoulder keeps him out of a game or two this season. The addition of Sam Adams will definitely help the interior DL.

I like the addition of Bledsoe last year. He gives them the stability they need at QB, instead of all the controversies.

I think the Bills will do well this year. But like most people, I still can't believe that the addition of Mcgahee in the 1st rd was the best move for the team..

The Bills did improve themselves. Unfortunately they are in the toughest division in the NFL.

Miami has improved themselves. If Fiedler gets hurt again, Griese will be mush better than Lucas. Seau will help also.

The Jets lost as couple of players, but they did win the division last year. Pennington COULD get even better.

New England picked up a few good free agents and had a good draft. QB Brady will be solid. Dont forget, the Patriots won the Super Bowl two years ago.

What all this boils down to is that it will be hard for any of these 4 teams to get a lot of wins because they play each other twice.

Bubba makes a great point: BRUTAL division, and the home field can be strong, consider the differential between Miami in the heat and the Northeast teams late in the cold. I could easily see all four teams gathering 3 to 5 division wins. Unlikely for a wildcard to come out of this division imo.

very good points guys about the afc east being very tough and competitive. but as far as miami they will have to prove themselves. year in and year out this team chokes at the end of the year. now with the additions they made w/griese and seau we will see. this team should go beyond far..but maybe they have the wrong hc? if they dont go to the bowl this year i think wandstedt is finished in miami?

as far as mcgahee (wormdog) yes i was very confused....but they think they got the best available player..and trust me i love henry and feel for the guy...if mcgahee does get 100% healthy one will be very good trade bait..so we must remember that

if my bills do not make the play-offs..say god bye to williams..he's done!mr.wilson is a very old man and lately is very detremined to get back into the show...so i expect alot from the bills in the next 2 years. and i do believe they will make the play-offs this year.

but 1st is 1st we have a double revenge game in our home opener vs patriots this year and believe that will tell the story are we contenders or pretenders..time will tell

Buffalo management has done everything to bring a winner to Western N.Y.
If the team doesnt do it here, they have no one to blame but themselves.

Note:
jmizeus, Griese and Seau were part of two teams that folded just as bad as the Dolphins the 2nd half of last year.
