Well, a good tournament turned into a break even tournament in the Elite 8 round.

Moving on to Bourbon Street.

Sure, UK may be the best team ever assembled. The same case can be made for Phi Slamma Jamma in '83, Georgetown in '85, Vegas in '91.....
I will take the generous points with the team who 'just wins' and possibly the best tournament basketball coach in the country based on the talent that he usually gets.

Great game here, especially if both teams are playing at a high level. This could go to the buzzer.

One Shining Moment

I'm up about 20 units in this tournament and for better or worse, I like this game this much.

17* Kansas +6.5 -105

2* Jayhawks +245

I put the extra on the completely homer play of the Rays winning the World Series at 20 to 1. Why not with that starting staff, right?

Five reasons:

1. The better defensive team on the floor tonight is Kansas.

2. The usual prescription for a tournament championship is a veteran point guard and a dominant inside player. KU again.

3. Public on the favorite with a line drop in a very high profile game.

4. Freshmen, even great freshmen, may not be able to close.

5. Brandon Lang.
