Hey guys... I'm back from vacation, enjoying some of the best weather the CONTINENTAL US has to offer just outside of San Diego... only lines I thought of were the scanitily clad tans ONES around me, and lining up my putts!

Had a good time, but now it's time to make up some ground, so let's get started. My kid is sick, so no write-ups today, but look for em tomorrow!

Phila at COLORADO

PHIL is 12-7 in Game 1 after a loss, while COLORADO is 5-11 after a win. PERSON is 4-1 in last five, while BOHANON seems to pitch well every other game at home. My feeling is that the ROCKIES "know" their season is over and it's about "ME" now, not us, and their play will show that from here on out. Look for PHILS to play well while they are in the race, and make a run at the playoffs. It HAS to start against weak teams, and COLORADO is that. PHIL's bats have been cold, but nothing better to warm em up but COORS field!
Taking the better team at a small price...

Did make a nice comeback late after a rough start at least... looking forward to today though, hopefully get some breaks to make up for yesterday,

sheesh!

SF bones me by going to NEN AGAIN, when Rodriguez had only thrown 9 pitches in the 8th and he promptly gives up a 2 run dinger with 2 outs. PHILA bolsters their bullpen with trades, and then watches it give up a 5-2 lead, (and a fine start by PERSON) to lose 7-6. Although it's not listed, I played DODGERS in a parlay with Cubs, ARI runline, ARI UN, SF, SF OVER, for a six teamer paying over $700, and GRIFFEY takes away what would have been the WINNING RUN in nine, by robbing GREEN of HR in the 5th, and CINCY BP totally dominates LA, while DODGER D goes to sleep in 11th. GRISSOM misplays a ball into a double, and the BACKUP catcher KREUTER drops the throw home allowing GRIFFEY to score the go ahead run. OF course, being here in CALIF, I got to watch the LA debacle!

Oh well, woulda, coulda, shoulda....
