I take it that this is a sarcasm thread by voting for one of these 3 coaches but if I had to vote I would take Steve Alford. Alford showed he means business by benching Recker and Evans in a couple of those Big Ten games down the stretch and I feel he will be a successful coach in time !!
If I had to vote for THE Coach Of The Year........I would take BO RYAN for the job he did here at WISCONSIN with only 8 scholarship players and 4 or 5 walkons !! Several big wins over top ranked teams.......one loss at the Kohl Center.......a Big Ten regular season championship.............the top seed in the Big Ten Tourney.........and an unexpected trip to the Big Dance is not too shabby !!! There is only good things to come for this Badger program when Ryan starts recruiting his own talent and keeps the top state players from jumping ship. I see alot more wins and dance tickets for this program.
COACH K at DUKE is a close second for all he does over there. He wins and recruits very well ..........enough said !!
