I'd be satisfied if this team could go 9-7.

Secondary is still a mess, DL is not very good, OL has a lot of potential but are very inexperienced.

Lets just hope for a WC berth...

Huge Cowboys fan here. IMO Dallas will be a wild card team. Who knows how they'll do in the playoffs.

I think the NFC East will end up like this:

Philadelphia
Dallas
NY Giants
Washington

Cowboys fan here as well. Secondary is still an issue with health of Newman and Jenkins. This teams D will GREATLY improve this season with Ryan's scheme. Will take a little while for them to implement and play loose, but they will play with a fire. They will be a wild card team this year IMO....but just with ANY NFL team....staying healthy will be the key.

They have a great stretch in the middle of the season to make a run of W's....from 11/6 to 12/4- Home against Seattle, Buffalo, @ Washington, Home against Miami and than @ Arizona.....could very well run those 5 in a row IMO

Never know in the NFL...each team is one or two key injuries away from hurting the season....I think the O line will be much better this season and play with more agility. Dez will have a break out season!! Offense is going to be fine....special teams will be solid...all about D...and Ryan was our biggest off season addition....I am excited for the season!!

and IMO...Vick will fall well short of how he played last year....I have a feeling Philly will fall well flat of expectations. ...at least I hope!!

THE COWBOYS GREATLY IMPROVED ON THE O LINE -MORE ATHLETIC AND THEVE GONE TO A CUT -PULLN SCHEME THEY WILL PUT UP ALOT OF POINTS -THEY ARE HOPING TO HOLD ONTO THE BALL LONGER THIS YEAR -INSTEAD OF LEAVING THERE D OUT THE SO LONG- THAT IS THERE SUPPOSED UPGRADE ON D- THEY ARE STILL POOR ON SPECIAL TEAMS AND NO SPEED AT THE CORNER AND PATHETIC COVERAGE FROM THE BACKER POSITION- TEAMS THAT CAN PROTECT THE QB- BECAUSE THERE STRENGTH IS A GREAT DLINE- AND A TEAM THAT CAN PASS WILL WIN MOST GAMES AGAINST DALLAS - IF THEY CAN HOLD THEM AT 20 OR LESS- DALLAS IS A 500 TEAM ONE GAME BETTER OR LESS- THERE OUT OF CONF SCHEDUELE DOES NOT HELP EITHER.

I'm not buying the 9/11 hype/emotion. That will go away as soon as helmets clash.

Dez and Miles are strong receivers who can handle bump and run coverage.

But I think the game lies in Felix Jones and DeMarco Murray having big games for Dallas.

I'm not guaranteeing Dallas wins (although I think they do)... but I think it's a field goal game at best.
