Where it is real F ing COLD
I'm not buying the 9/11 hype/emotion. That will go away as soon as helmets clash.

Dez and Miles are strong receivers who can handle bump and run coverage.

But I think the game lies in Felix Jones and DeMarco Murray having big games for Dallas.

I'm not guaranteeing Dallas wins (although I think they do)... but I think it's a field goal game at best.

The Dallas O should be great this year, watch out for Jones, saying that there defense sucos and the Jets can get to Homo and we know what he does in Big Games let alone road big games. I can't put my money on him but I sure as he'll will with the over

I like the courage of the Gal fans though, I wish I could be that delusional about my Vikes but just can't. Jets are the more balanced team and I can see them ripping holes through Dallas d and the jets are average offensively,

I want to go with the over as well, but I fear the Jets will focus on the power run game. Especially considering our undersized NT (Ratliff) and relatively weak ILB core. James is good, but Brookings is over the hill and Lee has looked soft.

just outside of D.C.
No way, & I am huge Cowboys fan.

9/11 emotion alone in NYC will be hard to overcome, despite the fact the NYJ are a more talented & complete team than Dallas.

I fully agree!! No way would I bet Dallas in this spot no matter how much I would like them to win. :nono:

Thunder is correct on the O, but I think the opinion on the D is a little to critical this early on. You don't change D schemes and instantly get better. What Dallas really needs is a second pasha rusher or Spencer to show up. Throwing it out there...Osi would make a great fit if they could swing it....very doubtful to trade within division, but Osi & D Ware (best D player in football) have roots at Troy and are very good friends....love to see that happen..wishful thinking I know....

The new Ryan Scheme will bring lots of blitzes in lots of formations. This unit needs TIME to get this system down and are far from it. Once they do, I think they will be much better when they are reacting instead of thinking. They will force offenses to throw the ball quicker and their corners are physical enough to handle that.....at least Jenkins is. Jenkins regressed last year, but I think he will play much more like two seasons ago. This secondary will NOT play with their backs to the line of scrimmage and more bump and run....right up Jenkins ally.

Igor was a BUM and think their level of play up front will get better as season progresses...Ryan will have these guys ready each week and play with the fire/passion their coach coaches with...

Special teams will be just fine!! McCann , Holley and other young guys are making plays....Dez will be a great punt returner, McBriar is the best Punter in the league and they just need to make more fg's!

I think this team is definitely better than a 500 club.....I don't have super high expectations...but I do think they have a chance to have a solid season. They just need to get of to a decent start and take advantage of that soft spot in the middle of their schedule.. If they do, and have momentum on their side....stay healthy......you never know!!  :0074 :0074

Dallas
Sanchez, yes dirty will throw all through the boys secondary. Newman is out, which he has clearly lost a step, but is their best defender. Now Scandrick and God forbid Ball will be forced to cover Holmes. Field day. Revis will shut down Austin, who also has had hammy issues the past few weeks. This game will not be pretty.
Luckily for cow fans like me, I think the 2nd half of the year will be a lot better than the beginning because I do believe in Ryan's scheme and attitude he brings to a soft boys defense. But you still have to have talent and right now the boys secondary is second to everyone.
With garrett and ryan I like the direction they are going in, but this team will not go into NY and win or even cover the spread.

It's between the packers and patriots, all others are playing for 3rd place :0corn

I would put the eagles in the mix especially with ried as coach but i agree- the pack are stacked 2-3 deep at every position - they really are the team to beat

Get on the JETS while you still can at the current number.

Newman is OUT for this game & Jenkins & Tyron Smith both were injured in practice today.

Jenkins injury still not disclosed & it is Tyron Smith's knee. Both already scheduled for MRI's.

Dallas could be going into this game w/ 3 Cb's...all of them junk.

Here comes another 6 win season Boys! :sadwave:

I homered out and got the line when it was Dallas +4.5, but I pretty much considered that wasted money already.

Ohio but not a Buckeye
Not a fan of any of the teams, and I think Dallas finishes in 1st

I'd be shocked if any team in that division won more than 10 games. I see high scoring games on a weekly basis. A lot of teams that look like the Houston Texans on defense of prior years. A few studs but glaring holes in important spots.
