This team has

3-4-5 hitters of
Pena, Palmer and Young. That's the meat of the order.

No bullpen. Seriously. Matt Anderson and German are both OK, but everybody else is bad. It's like the movie Major League "I never heard of half these guys, and the ones I do know are way past their prime."

Wil Ledezma?
Matt Roney?
Jamie Walker?
Steve Sparks?

This team is a hole for talent. At least Tampa Bay has young talent like Huff and Crawford. This team has hardly anything to look forward too.

Expect A LOT of -250 to -400 for the opposition.
Today, a rookie for the Sox was -220. Never pitched a major league game in his life, yet he was -220. What is Pedro going to be against this team -650?

115 seems a little low to me

Good luck having this team win 47 games.

Combined with the brewers, not sure if they will combine for 81 wins.

Not sticking up for the Tigers at all, but Knotts was good and the guy that pitched yesterday. I don't know why you have a knuckleballer pitching in weather like this. No movement at all.

They'll win 60 and I would think that you're going to get some good value with them once the season isn't so fresh.

i tend to disagree on that one...I don't see them improving over the 55 games won last year....and i see them WORSE on the road this season...if that's possible.

now maybe if they can play competatively at home they may have a chance.

the value with them is AT HOME. ( to some point)
they may win every 1 of three in home series'.

i see them 20 - 60 on the road this year, and i'm gonna hammer against them on the road until it fails me.

good luck in your plays this season.

but i do agree with your statement that knotts and maroth HAVE pitched well....but if you can't score any runs????

I agree with T.V.

I don't think there's gonna be much value in the Tigers this season...it goes waaaayyyyy beyond any normal "few games"public perception of them right now....they ARE as bad as they look.

Knotts was very impressive today, but will he continue to be that good? He did benefit from Onora getting those corner calls, but he had to hit those spots to get the beneficial "Onora calls" he located his pitches very well today...problem is you can't go by one game...will be interesting to see how he does his next few outings.

Bobby-The wind was gusting 20 mph at the Cell today, Sparks knuckleball should have been dancing all over the place.

I don't know what the deal was, but Onora wasn't giving the corner like usual today. I am not sure if you watched the game, but that is what I saw. I was expecting a huge strike zone, and to me, there really wasn't. I can remember 4 or 5 pitches with 2 strikes (for both pitchers) on the corner, that he called balls.
I think it was the untimely hitting of the Sox (until the 8th inning, or course) and just the good pitching of Stewart/horrible line-up of the Tigers that kept the score down until the bottom of the 8th.
