Those who feel that Sponge is anything more than an attention-whore have determined that either Sponge is connected to those who "fix" games, or that he has an uncanny ability to smell a rat.

Which do you believe?

Think I just spotted an ugly transvesite, in heels & hose trying to break into a mental health clinic. Let me swing around to see if it answers to squarepants......................:SIB

That's why i never worry about fixed games.....if and when one of the infrequent ones pops u u can usually spot it in line movement....one that i was privy to was an NBA game where my cousin was dating an NBA ref...he called enuff fouls untill the correct team covered the spread....and the winning team moved from +3 to -1 in the betting line.confirming my inside info..or.......... er ... ....FIX!!!

Listen fuk face why don't you like Judge, try to break one of the fifty points i brought up? You are one of those rightwing assholes who think we are over in Iraq fighting for the Iraq's freedom. Nobody i repeat nobody this stupid is gonna be able to tell what a fix game is from a legit one. As you can see a few lurkers popped on the board and are curious as to what I'm saying. If i was an attention whore i would start many post instead of voicing an opinion in someone else's. AR, sorry i am trying to do this your way by respecting others opinions but this guy is to much. Its one insult after another with this punk. I have a rule. I will tolerate four insults but the fifth one i won't. I laid it out. I said i will show everyone a game that is rigged and what will happen. The onus is on me now. This isn't something that is easy to do but i will do it. I also know people won't believe what i just did but all i can do is point.

Cie, I called out to him, momentarily thought there was recognition, and just when I thought he would suceed in breaking in, a limo with Algore, Rosie, and mostmichael wisked him away. They were overheard trying to convince him that this year Lebronian was just to get the Graveliers into the finals. The big fix is really in for next year. Of course this all occurs in a galaxy far far away.

Did not read the whole thread but the first page. There is no way in hell team sports are fixed. Sure the offiicials can be swayed one way or another it is human nature. But there is no true fix. Anyone that believes so is just wrong and dreaming. As I said team sports.

If you think the series is fixed in favor of cleveland you aren't watching this series. All the calls going to San Antonio. Every one of them.

That is your opinion and all i can say is we will see. You should have read what i said when the season ended and during the playoffs which were 100 percent correct. There is no denying that.

Maybe this could be the problem on why people feel this is so hard to believe. This is about the tenth post that claims i thought Cleveland would win the series. I never once said that. If we can't even get something written in a post right how in the world can we notice what is rigged and what is not? By the way the Spurs need no help from the refs to beat this shithole team. Detroit laid down for this team to promote Lebron. What the NBA doesn't realize is that Lebron is to young and overatted right now to be doing this this early in his career. Lebron is the one that needs help to be a star. Just like Mcnab did when the NFL thought they had another superstar. (grammar and spelling was kinda reviewed)

NEW YORK (AP) -- The FBI is investigating allegations that a veteran NBA referee bet on basketball games over the past two seasons, including ones in which he officiated.

According to a law enforcement official, authorities are examining whether the referee made calls to affect the point spread in games on which he or associates had wagered.

The law enforcement official, who spoke to the AP on Friday on condition of anonymity, said the referee was aware of the investigation and had made arrangements to surrender as early as next week to face charges. The official, who did not identify the referee, is familiar with the investigation but was not authorized to speak publicly about the ongoing investigation.

The law enforcement official said the bets involved thousands of dollars and were made on games during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons.

The NBA issued a brief statement Friday: "We have been asked by the FBI, with whom we are working closely, not to comment on this matter at this time."

The FBI probe, which began recently, also involves allegations that the referee had connections to organized crime associates. Other arrests are expected, the official said.

The referee had a gambling problem, according to the official, and was approached by low-level mob associates through an acquaintance.

The investigation first was reported Friday by the New York Post.

Veteran oddsmaker John Avello, at the Wynn resort on the Las Vegas Strip, said that without specific information it would be difficult to identify wagering irregularities over the last two seasons.

"At this point, it's too early to know if any games were affected," Avello said, adding that no regulators or investigators had contacted him about the case.

Gambling long has been a problem in sports, and leagues have made a point of educating players of the potential pitfalls. The NBA, for example, discusses gambling at rookie orientation, even bringing in former mobster Michael Franceze to speak.

don't believe the players fix the game as they make too much money, no viable reason to fix, however i am sure the officials are on the take

I think some people owe you an apology....

watching the lowlights of game three of the suns/spurs series... and you can tell it was fixed for a spurs cover and victory.

the nba is not fixed, you guys are kidding yourselves. The nba is a bastardized version of itself 15 years ago but it is not fixed. They fix the draft too right? Thats why they sent the two most hyped players in basketball in recent memory out to the northwest so they can get dismal ratings at 11:30 at night on the east coast huh. Yeah explain the reason behind that fix. Or thats why they have the most boring team in basketballl on the verge of its 4 title this decade, explain the reasoning behind having them win when they record the worst ratings in finals history. Or explain the no call on lebron in game 2 if the league's agenda is to get the cavs in the finals? No question there was enough contact on that shot for the hired whistle to call a foul. For these big tv contracts you guys keep mentioning, why are the 3 of the 4 biggest fan bases in the sport, Philly, Boston, and NY all abysmal and missing the playoffs? And why didnt they get durant or oden? Im just curious.

I could go on all night, but you wont be able to give a logical answer to any of them so why pile them on, let me geuss, im just a sheep lead on by the powers that be and the only enlightened ones are those who think the nba is rigged. cie grant said everything i think about your theories in one hand gesture.

hmmmmmmmmmm i guess you are the man??????
