I do think ECU still wins. But you just can't discount a bad call here and there and not see how huge it can be in the way the game goes.
ECU is up 7-0 on their own 40. 4th and 1. Risky call and they get STUFFED. Refs give them a 1st down. Next play, they lose 2 yards but I suppose emotion plays into a late hit. It was a little extra after the play b/t 2 guys and the WVa guy slapped the helmet. 15 yards and ECU ends up with a FG.
Like was mentioned, they are at home, now up 10-0, all the momentum. That is totally different if WVa drives 40 yards after a huge stop and make it 7-7.
Again, not saying WVa would have won...who knows. Just that most fans see 24-3 and can't see how huge 1-2 plays can have on the way a game goes.
