I'll have to take a look at those two wagers you speak of - I'm guessing there's more than just the Obama factor involved in you thinking the republicans will win. Maybe they have a couple of good candidates, maybe better than the dems do?

While we're asking for feedback, no takers on my points (Wayne)?

On incimbent is Corsine in New Jersey.
Would also wager Reid is toast but that to far off in future.
Pelosi will always be safe in land of Oz.

_getting back to O and my support for way he has handled Afgan--appears I am not by myself--from CNN recently--

"Republicans (70 percent say it is worth fighting) and conservatives (58 percent) remain the war?s strongest backers, and the issue provides a rare point of GOP support for Obama?s policies"

Appears conservatives remain constant in support of leaders when it involves our troops and defense.

Thus my premise of thread topic--will be interesting to see if liberals continue their prior views on "the good war" or if they turn on O and how he handles changing winds.

The tide is beginning to turn--also from CNN and these #'s reflect above -with mostly the conservatives backing O.

In a CNN-Opinion Research Corporation survey released earlier this month, 54 percent opposed the US-led fight, with only 41 percent in favor.

Would say between these #'s and those in favor and opposed to pandering to captured terrorist--there is little doubt about parties differences on terrorism and defense of country.
