I won't say that I hate Def Leopard but one of the most over rated bands IMO. If chicks didn't love em then I wouldn't of listened after Pyromania, it all became the same
Absolutely have to disagree. The best harmonies of any 60's hair band. The reason their stuff sounds similar is because of the awesome harmonies in each of their songs. They know how to write great hooks and that's what made them successful, not chicks.
But then again, that's why there are millions of different bands and everybody has a particular style of music that they are drawn to. However in this particular case I have to totally agree with the Canadian.

Other then the trifecta of hits from that album, 'Photograph', 'Foolin' and 'Rock of Ages' I can't really say I am a big fan. Then again I can say that about a lot of artists of any genre.
I definitely think "Pour some sugar on me" was a song that stood out above the rest and I've listened to many of their albums.

This is why Purple and PF rock according to me. Great taste in music.
For the last seven years, every birthday I wish for the same thing. That all the members of Rush are in a van and their pockets are loaded with C4 and mustard gas. As they are driving down the road Styx runs out in front of them and all perish, but not until Rush, trying to avoid the collision with Styx, don't and drive into a building where all members of Def Leppard are talking about another suck ass song to plague the radio waves when the van comes crushing through the wall, killing everyone. The C4 explodes releasing the mustard gas and ensuring all involved will never again play a single note. Sometimes, the "super band" Asia is visiting in my wish.
