I'm surprised you don't know Bumper Stumpers, Matt. Was a cheesy game-show from the 80s. Look it up. They gave you these licence plates with shit written on it like "DGAFE" and expected you to decipher what it meant. Now grant it, this brain buster that Jack gave us would certainly be a bonus round puzzle but most were simple like....II1/2IT (The ayes have it)

I know you grew up in the 80s, as did I. That's why I was surprised you had never heard of it. I'm certain it didn't last more than a season or two. I think they have played it on the Gameshow Network a few times in the past. Like I said though....was a pretty weak gameshow. My favorite was always Press Your Luck. Spencer blows

I remember that show. It was every bit as bad as it sounds. But that was a rough era for game shows - they were trying everything on every little network it seemed. Thank God for 'Press Your Luck' with the Whammies or the entire decade would have been lost.
