just wondering what's the FED and STATE TAX hit per gaming laws.

I suspect alot of these folks are Pro's and at least avoid the gigantic pie slice taken away with record kept loses.

The points are contest points, not winning percentage. The SuperContest awards a full point for an ATS win and a half point for a push, with five selections per week.

Year . . . Entries . . . Points . . Top Pay . . Winner

2012 . . . 745 . . . . . . 57.5 . . . 447,000 . . . Al, Sr.

2011 . . . 517 . . . . . . 60.5 . . . 310,200 . . . Sans Souci

2010 . . . 345 . . . . . . 55.5 . . . 207,000 . . . Richard Stand

2009 . . . 328 . . . . . . 54.5 . . . 196,800 . . . Fezzik

2008 . . . 350 . . . . . . 56.5 . . . 210,000 . . . Fezzik

2007 . . . 342 . . . . . . 55 . . . . 205,200 . . . Ptshverj Gaffney

2006 . . . 416 . . . . . . 57.5 . . . 249,600 . . . Jarhead

2005 . . . 505 . . . . . . 59 . . . . 303,000 . . . Blue Team

2004 . . . 411 . . . . . . 52.5 . . . 131,520 ea. . (tie ? Letitridesports.com, Group A, Tiger Wilson)(an untied first place would have paid 246,600)

If my math is correct, the median winning score for the 2004-11 eight years would be 56.

At 353 entries as of August 26, 2012, we already have more entries than in four of the last eight years.
