Thanks for the link HR, it's a classic but I am still in the camp who thinks it was all a setup. Look how long it takes them to cut the picture while "Chris" is all over him and he never lands a punch, barely even throws one in his direction.

It's 2 am here. My work day has started a bit ago. I won't ever be able to get into the Rome Show listening to the tape of a day old show. He's talking about Martinez' start with the callers in tonights game two. That game ended 4 hours ago. Don't know why my local AM1000 is doing this. :sadwave:

Intense operator I sometimes have listened to AM 1000, and would agree that the best thing was
Todd Wright ESPN. you get contest updates on the games and what happened, also had good interviews.

Rome should be played during the day, but do not really care for his show. would not worry to much; radio stations often change their programming and sometimes even the format.

He has the best interviews bar none on his show. He gets people from every sport from coaches to players to upper management. He also has taken a liking to Nascar a sport he hated about 2 yrs ago.

Give him time you will like the show.

He lobs the biggest softballs for his "guests". He will rip a guy for a week straight, and then the guy will be on the show and he is all, "Man, you're great!"

The guy is a chump. He likes the sound of his own pipes.

Made out just fine 3 of the five days, but got whacked on Saturday for a couple of dimes.

Hit 4 deuces on video poker for a dime, but that was the only big win. I will post a full report on my next day off!
