Could you explain how the mets game yesterday was a win? I got it no need I didnt know the rule in suspended game but now I do .

The Cardinals scored in the top of the ninth to tie the game. The game was delayed, suspended in the ninth to be finished at a later date. For most sports books, if you bet on the Mets, you were a winner because they were ahead after the last full inning played. That?s my understanding, at least.:0008

Pretty much dead on, but here's the rule right from Bet Online:

3. BASEBALL RULES

Regular Season Moneyline wagers are considered official after 5 (five) complete innings or 4? innings if the home team is winning. Therefore, if a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning. Unless the home team scores to tie or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in this case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called.
