Where it is real F ing COLD
It's nice to see this team heading down. The defense is showing it's true colors of late. The offense is a shell of itself, the days of video arcade football seem to becoming to an end and teams are relying on running more. Look at the Pats, they are running at an all time high.

I take delight at the denial the Packer fans are in. One told me that Jordy Nelson was a top 10 NFL receiver.. Where do they find these fans? Never any objectivity. I said I need a piece of paper and a pen and I can name 40. You see the guy is very average when playing against teams top corners. He is all world in the slot, nobody can keep up with him.

Listened to Packer Whine Line after the game. The fans in Green Bay and Madison are ready to jump off a cliff. Some were calling for a overhaul of the organization, one said Rogers head is in a commercial somewhere, and don't get started on J. Finley. Many would lunch him here in WI..

I know I know, the Packers have won more Super Bowls I have heard it, cause I am going to hear that song and dance for the rest of this season and I feel a few more seasons to come..

If the season was 5 weeks long, I'd congratulate you and the vikes on a great season --- :SIB

No I still think it's going to be close. The Vikes are still making strides but by no means are a juggernaught... They are improving and they have a bunch of SOLID young players. This team has had 3 good drafts in a row and the last 2 maybe great. I think they are top to bottom a better team than the Pack at almost all positions but Green Bay has a big edge at the most important at QB.

Both Vikes lines are better. Vikes Linebackers are better that's cause Pack do not have Bishop, yes they have the Claymaker but the Vikes group is solid, the Vikes secondary is better, Special teams is better, Pack has a better WR core if Jennings is healthy but we do have Percy. Oh I forgot RB not even close.

certainly playing with more confidence this early season..

have to guard against that tendency for Viking teams to find ways to lose and literaly gives victories away..

It's what bad teams do..

Lets hope they have turned the corner on being one of the "bad teams".

I would definitely be excited, if I were you, BP! Even as a Viking hater, I can't help but be impressed with how good they have been playing. I watched the Detroit game in full, and I was amazed that the Lions had virtually zero yards after the catch the entire game, while the Vikings got 8-10 or more YAC on every pass play.

I am thankful the Packers don't play the Vikings at all until very late in the season. I am hoping they get their shit together before then.

BTW, you better hope the Vikings are at least 7-3 going into their bye week. Have you looked at their six games after the bye?

Oh I am not expecting much for an overall this year. I think 8 - 8 is a good yea, obviously I expect more than that now. I know the schedule by heart, so I know how tough it is going to get, be lucky to be 2 - 3 in December.

It already is a good season. Better than last year. I think the division is easily going to go to Chicago, Vikes will start dropping games but it's the foundation of young talent that I like.

definitely a better start than i could imagine--shit, dallas has abetter record than the pack

Thats how the NFL is man.. The Packers are so c`lose to be 4 -1. A terrible call and a blown 18 point lead. Rogers and co start the stat padding, he threw a pick to start the second half that lead to the comeback. His receivers must not be open cause he is holding on to the ball for a long time. He IMO is all so worried about his stats and has probably lost faith in some of his receivers. His O - Line is a joke

I concur

I concur

Biggest surprise of NFL season, Pack is looking at a 14 point physical asskicking in Houston Sunday, if your boys can hand RG3, they will have a 3 game lead after 6 games...

I thought they would go 5-11 and challenge for a top 5 draft pick, I was dead wrong...who is responsible for coaching the secondary there anyway, whoever he is, he is doing a fucking amazing job, that secondary was pathetic last year, went 8 straight games without an interception despite tying for NFL lead in sacks, but this season, presto-change-o, secondary is playing well......incredible

Just goes to show you, how much you think you know about the NFL, one team every season emerges from the dumpster and stirs things up....I think the Vikes are going to win at least 10-11 games and be that team this year.

DC Williams needs to take a lot of credit for getting rid of the Tampa 2 scheme but this secondary has had a dramatic transformation. Last year CB Cris Cook was arrested and he is back and playing well. 3rd round pick CB Josh Robinson is playing great. First round pick SS Harrison Smith is playing well and a punisher, I wonder how many fines he will get. This new scheme and new talent in the secondary is young, now they bring Winfield on passing downs and limit his playing time to avoid injury and he likes it cause he knows he may add a year or two to his career which is good cause he is a good mentor. Also, these guys allow the linebackers to play a more physical in your face type of defense. Vikes have had to rely on their LBs to drop back into coverage for years, plus they are blitzing much better.

Vikings season total going over and Packers season total going under are already virtual LOCKS!!!:toast:

I think the Vikes may struggle in Washington.. Washington has a solid run defense and I don't know if the Vikes have the horses to take advantage of weak secondary. Looks like Jerome Simpson could be out of this game and longer
