If the 2019 Independence Bowl was not the most boring it's in the Top 10. Had the La. Tech Bulldogs +7 for a Dollar($100.00) & a Half($50.00) on the ML(+200) so I'll gladly collect $200.00 & pass GO but still...like watching paint dry. :sleep:

Boy the 'Canes really suck!!! :yup

That game was brutal. I'm all for field position battles but that was ineptitude. That defensive back...I mean QB for La Tech...my god I've never seen so many terrible passes in one game.

Then, at the end, he really impressed me w the unselfish slide instead of scoring...and what does Skip Holtz do...instead of downing it and running out the clock, he runs a play. I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised if the Miami guy wasn't pulling him into the end zone on purpose to give up the TD but at least give themselves an outside shot.

I was no La Tech +8 so I'll gladly take it but boy was that hard to watch!

That was a perfect example of the importance of a quarterback. No idea why Perry didn't start and play the whole game. And no idea why Miami, a program of that size doesn't have somebody, anybody who can at least run an offense. Williams, although a freshman is terrible. The second kid Martell looked like a terrible, scared high school quarterback, running for his life. It's hard to have an opinion on Perry as the game was over, when he got in the game. Miami defense showed up, and kept playing, holding a relatively good offense in check. The OL protected the various terrible quarterbacks pretty decently. No QB, no football team, at every level.

I bet against Manny Diaz, he was a terrible hire. He was fired at Texas as DC when Mack was there, can?t believe he is head coach at The U
