Manson and his murderous clan grew up during my time. He is, in fact, older than I am, but we are contemporaries. He had a large following in his day - many of whom found him to be a genius. I never believed that. He was very talented at using naive young people looking for a father figure or a hero to follow. He was a crappy musician and attempted to strong arm everyone into doing as he wanted. He was a little scrawny runt, but instilled fear in many because of his cold stare and total unpredictability. Now that he is in his sixties, perhaps he has mellowed out some. And, by the way, he never killed anyone himself. Correct me where I am wrong, Charlie.
For sheer comedic value, let's assume this is the real Mr. Manson.
As posted the other day, irony 1.0 is that he talks about 'terrorists' killing innocent civilians...Hmmm.
Irony 2.0: Here's a man who interperetted Chapter 9 of the Book of Revlelations, as meaning the 'new coming' was the Beatles, carrying electric guitars on june-buggies.....And we here are supposed to take him and his opinions seriously?....
Irony 3.0: If it wasn't for pussy-arsed, weak-gutted, laughable Liberals repealing the death penalty in California in 1976, he'd be dead.
And Chanman....He spent over half his life behind bars....He actually wanted to spend more! He served nearly 10 years for a) forging a Treasury cheque, then b) Violating his parole....and then on his release in '67 he 'begged authorities to let him stay in prison'.
He (still assuming!) comes on here to act like a big tough guy, when in reality he is scared shitless of the real world.....Which would be Irony 4.0, as to why he feels so compelled to constantly comment on it.
