Pitino was a class act in his comments after the game.

Anyway, we can just hope the guy can walk after his repair and rehab. Baskets is what they is.

Freakin' flukey though, aye? I've seen and experienced some stress to leg and other bones and haven't quite seen that type of shatterage, at least not with the weight of a fairly small frame being responsible. In a twisted way, it kinda makes me wonder why we don't see people crumpling just walkin' down the street sometimes.

Not the reason I watch sports.
Perspective sucks.
In a good way, perhaps.

Thought it was cool that Theisman tweeted him. I know a lot of thought about that injury when it happened. I think Ware's was a lot worse though! A MMA fighter had a horrible break similar a few years ago after a guy blocked his kick. Can't remember his name; I just remember he was tall and skinny, and after he broke it, he tried to stand on it. Gruesome on all accounts!

Prayers and thougts to this young kid. Hope he fully recovers. Went coach was talking about him in post game interview that he just screamed win the game i had tears in my eyes.

Few years back Polish soccer player had similar injury. I thought he would had problems walking again not to mention play again. Guess what he came back and plays till today. And I think soccer Player was over 30 when it happened so Let's hope young body recovers the same way.

I don't follow college hoops so don't know how good this guy is. I just wanna say that NBA with it's Age limit rule is a joke. Had it happened to pro at least he would be financialy secured. This kid will be forgotten way quicker than he recovers if he does at all.

I'm with you (snoopol) but I don't think that the NBA regulations have much to do with any issues of dissolvement. I guess my feelings are that we just make our choices as to what to do with our lives--whatever physical (or mental) activity, beit sports or the military or law enforcement or Hendrix-knows-what, and if we have a mishap that impairs us from reaching our dreams, before we can achieve them, then, as you mention, we will be forgotten quicker than whatevas.

I think that on the personal level it is the subjective experience that transcends any legacy (or whatever you want to call it)--ie being remembered--as far as personal or whoever-determines type fulfillment goes.

I'd better stop right now and see if I can resurrect Mr. Hicks to tape some dried grams underneath my chair.
Will squeegee my Third Eye however possible, if you get my meaning (I don't, completely, either, so )

...
fuck it
...
killed my addition of the Tool video (Third Eye)--they apparenlty dedicated Aenima to MrH, and/or Mr.Hicks joke about squeegying his third eye...I'm going to fuck off, now...take care, Mr.Ware

That was Corey Hill. And I won't post that video.

Also was one from last year in Cage Rage that was beyond horrific but I won't post that one either.

The Kevin Ware one was bad, can't believe that happened with no contact.

On the course!
That gif shows all the bench guys almost puking, while a guy in the stands is telling his 9 year old, "Hey! Check it out!"

I haven't had time to watch the tourney much this year, but I found some time to tune in and root against Duke yesterday.

I turned it on right after it happened and they way they were talking I was sure someone had died.
