I get screwed my Arkansas and their horrid FT shooting as they win by 6 when the f*cking spread is 6.5. It's hard damn work going 7 for 17 from the charity stripe dickheads~!

I also have Wisky -10.5 and they are dribbling out the clock when the Illini tip a ball and convert a dunk with 3 seconds left so Wisky wins by 10.:gf: :cuss: :soapbox:

GAWD do I hate basketball sometimes... anyone else get completely screwed on these games???

Is the key to start playing teasers... I normally buy half-points, but didn't tonight and paid for it.

I've never known anyone that has been able to use teasers for profit in basketball. I think I've even seen articles that state you should never tease in basketball, and that the only value for it is in football based on the certain #'s it can get you past (3,4,7,0).

There are so many of those pt. to 1/2 pt. losses in basketball. Seems like they usually come in droves when they do come against you.

Yes, just had my 3rd 1 point loss for the night as Idaho wins by 7 and I had 7.5... :mj07:

All told, if those half-point losses were winners instead of losers, I make an additional 33.6* on the night.

DD - sorry to hear another one bit you. I don't need to preach to you as I know you've been around the block, but I always just try to remember that there are numerous 1/2 to 2 pt wins that have helped me over the years.

Or I just throw something across the room and cuss at a 20 year old kid on my t.v. that I've never met. That seems to help too.

Low and Weaver might be the best backcourt in the country for WASU... I'm being serious. They remind me of the kids you don't want to face because they play excellent defense and are solid offensively as well. I thought Kansas had a great backcourt when healthy, but these kids are scrappier.

No question. I always buy the 1/2. It's worth it not to have the frustration of being on the wrong side by 1/2. btw, I was on the right side with Aub and Ill (1pt). Didn't play Idaho. Lost the under tease in the Wis/Ill game in the last min. of the game.
