The ONLY way we ever get a playoff system? STOP WATCHING!!! The fans need to boycott watching the games, SEND THE RATINGS PLUMMETING TO NUMBERS EQUAL TO "THE COOKING WITH BRUNO HOUR" and let these money grubbing assholes take a financial bath. We all (football fans in general) have been sitting around, bitchin' and moanin' about not having a playoffs for years. But guess what, we will all have our TV's tuned in and glues to every single BCS game. The rating will be great as usual. The money keeps on rolling in for this cash cow called college football and they have ZERO motivation to change jack squat! Oh BTW, the NFL and NBA players were bitching between a 51-49 split or a 49-51 split but for God's sake, the colleges get a 100-0 share of the revenue.
Do we really want a playoff? Do we want it enough to sit out and boycott the BCS games this year? Could there be a movement started to get 75% of football fans to actually turn their TVs off for the 4 major bowls games? Because THAT is what it will take to change the format.
The only thing these rich, powerful colleges understand is dollars and more dollars. The only bell they will answer is a kick in the pocketbook.
