Pistons -4.5 over Indy
Defense and rebounding.That's what the Pistons are all about.Still cannot believe all the blocked shots in last game.
Pistons weakness is vs. teams that fast break.Pacers don't do that.They play a half court game which plays into the Pistons strength.
Playing at the Palace with the big "mo" and the 2 W's,the Phanthom of the Opera shooting jumpers,etc gives the home team a win and cover.
Indy offense doesn't impress me.O'Neal has to contend with the big boys inside.Artest has done nothing in this series.Piston defense has been all over him.He is 11-41 and shot 6-21 in game 2.And O'Neal was held to zip in the 2nd half in that game.
Is that a poor offensive showing or great defense.A little bit of both but defense was great.
Pistons win and cover tonite.

Detroit Shock -1 over Liberty
I swore I wouldn't play the ladies again.Last time. I promise.
Shock won the WNBA title lyr.They beat the Liberty lyr 4 times.They return all 5 starters.Liberty frontline is weak.Shock has Cash and Ford who should dominate in the paint.Ford was the rookie of the yr lyr.Shock are bigger,quicker and more athletic.Liberty's Hannon looked great with Johnson.Problem is both are gds.
Shock should win on the road by 6-10 pts. small play..
A "motown sweep". And maybe the tigers will win also.
