The Dems proved onceagain that they are the party of hate. They hate anything that isn't ultra-socialist.

Thay want to take America down an ugly path and want it to become a glorified Canada, wher it's citizens are brainwashed with a socialist agenda. I escaped Canada to come to a good country, where a person is free to express themselves and to have a brain to think for themselves. Kerry and his goons want to make you think the way they do.

The Dems are a bunch of elitists.

Don't forget the old and sick and poor that the Reb's just hate. The Dems will have to keep them and the homo's. None church goers black and white trash, woman who get screwed just because they can't wait to have a abortion. Lawyers for sure and actors. Thats what surprises me about Rush he's a actor but the Reb's took him. Anyone who believes in clean air to breath there stuck with the Dems.

Idiot, who you calling an idiot. Without knowing my education, my profession, my industry, my back ground and just judgeing me for my political beliefs is not worthy of being called an idiot.

Hey, I didn't say he wasn't welcome, I just said he was an idiot. It's pretty obvious that idiot posters are welcome here too.

It didn't really bother me. I had been warned earlier for not following the rules (unintentional). I was told that possible reasons for warnings can include verbal abuse. I gues I was a little bent out of shape. I need to tone down my behavior but others don't.

Well I guess conservatives need to wath their p's and q's (a British saying for those who don't know).

A little bacground to my new friends. I was born in England (Yes I'm a Brit) and lived insouth Africa until I was 8. My family moved to Canada when I was 8 (Yes I'm Canadian too). When I was 24, I relocated to G-d's green earth and have recently become a permanent residen (proudest day of my life).

I've seen a great part of the world (most of it stinks) and it's helped to form my opinions. I can honestly say that the U.S. is the greatest country on earth.

No question about it. The problem is that a lot of people here think that simply wanting a change of leadership makes you anti-American.

lmao if you believe that you are the idiot bjfinste or you have a delusional persecution complex

wanting a change of leadership has nothign to do wtih being anti-American....however some of the ridiculous criticism waged such as "Bush lied" DOES make guys like John Kerry anti-american when he said the same things

he sells America and our troops short in doing such things and that is anti-american

I think there is plenty of hate from both partys. The thing I consider most is how the hate is directed.

I am looking at comparisons on protestors from each side This is only thing I could find on arrests but saw on news total of protesters arrested at 16. Would appreciate input from any on the #'s.
Will update after Reb convention.

Boston. com: "To prepare for the protesters expected to swarm Boston during the Democratic National Convention, security planners amassed a force of 5,000 law enforcement officers. The city built a razor-wired protest zone ...Suffolk County officials cleared enough jail cells and courtrooms to handle 2,500 arrests. Total number of protest-related arrests so far this week: One. Where are the protesters? 'Clearly, what this represents is that folks on the left have decided it would be counterproductive to protest the DNC,' said Jason Pramas, a labor organizer from Cambridge. Many progressives, radicals, and Greens are saving their protests for the GOP Convention in New York. 'We are confident the New York demonstrations will be quite massive,' said Leslie Cagan, national coordinator for United for Peace and Justice, a coalition of antiwar groups." By contrast, Boston police estimate the size of the largest Boston protest at 700."

This has to be the funniest post I have seen on this site in awhile, the Dems are the party of hate BWHAHAHAHAAHAHA! As a registered Independent I find this post to be so off base, if any group is the party of hate it has to be the Republicans as they have no record to run on this year other than using the tactics of hate, fear and name calling. You have Dickless Cheney calling out John Edwards for his record in Congress, saying the guy never did much, yet Cheney served 11 years in Congress and was the sponser of only two bills! Cheney's must famous moment in Congress came when he was in the minority and voted against stopping the sale of bullets called "cop killers"!

MC I think the republicans have no choice but to run on what they did the past 3 years. There about a 50% split on those who think job is satisfactory.

Kerry on the other hand is judged on what he intends to do.

I personally had difficulty telling in his speech at convention.
Spent most the time going over his life before politics and the rest on what he is going to do NOW"--but had total amnesia on the 20 years he has been in politics and his accomplishments.;)

It is the party of hate. Democrats give everything away to the poor to secure votes instead of doing the hard thing and teaching the poor to fend for themselves. Democrats hate everything that is good. They do not fear God. As a matter of fact, they avoid the mention of God unless they say God Bless America. Just my 2 cents.
