Penn State has lost / no cover their last two games hosting Indiana and visiting Michigan.
They were the dog in both contests.
From what I saw, which wasn't pretty, they were beaten primarily with the three ball.
They were giving Indiana all they could handle until the Hoosiers shot "lights out" in the second half.
Yesterday, they lost by 20 to Michigan.
Michigan shot 12 - 21 from behind the arc.
In the seven games previous, Michigan was:
6 for 13
4 for 19
5 for 11
------------
2 for 16
7 for 16 (hosting Army)
1 for 10
2 for 11
On Saturday, Penn State hosts the Michigan State Spartans.
The Spartans have won/covered their last two games hosting both Illinois and Northwestern.
From behind the arc against Illinois, the Spartans were 1 for 9.
Against Northwestern, the Spartans were 4 for 12.
Before that, they were 1 for 8 at Indiana.
I dunno what the line will be, but hosting a team who is struggling with the three ball may give Penn State a fighting chance.
Fwiw.
