Quite possibly one of the dumbest quotes ever. John Lennon was so in touch with his fellow man...

For you say this about John Lennon you must not understand the meaning behind his words.

If you would care to explain your position.

Or I would be glad to explain it in a way that perhaps you could understand.

what is there to explain? Just another stupid comment from a beatnik musician who should have just stuck to music. I did enjoy several of your other quotes, however.

Air Force One Today
The current presidential fleet consists of two specifically-configured Boeing 747-200B series aircraft - tail numbers 28000 and 29000 - with Air Force designation VC-25A. When the President is aboard either craft, or any other Air Force aircraft, the radio call sign is "Air Force One."

While on the aircraft, the President and staff have access to a full range of services, including communications systems, secure and non-secure voice, fax and data communications, along with access to photocopying, printing, and word processing.

These aircraft are maintained and operated by the Presidential Airlift Group, part of Air Mobility Command's 89th Aircraft Wing, based at Andrews Air Force Base, Suitland, Maryland. The VC-25A is capable of flying half way around the world without refueling and can accommodate more than 70 passengers.

william-taft-tub.jpg

William Howard TAFT was the largest U.S. President at over 300 lbs. This photo, taken in 1996, features a replica bathtub built for him. The original ceramic tub was cracked during removal from the White House.

For a reference as to the scale, my son Jacob (age 10) is visible in the background looking at a display case.

It's the rare biographical sketch that doesn't mention the giant bathtub ? spacious enough to accomodate four average-sized men ? specially built for him in the White House.
