And you thought you were worried about contributing you are doing a great job keep it up I am with you on the Marlins, Pavano should be in the minors in my opinion and we know the crowd won't be a factor they only had like 2300 last night and you are right this kid Beckett is for real and the Marlins bats should eat Pavona for dinner!

on beckett also, very surprised more people have not mentioned this play. love the fact the spos play in front of dozens of people, should help beckett keep his composure. a friend of mine here at mj's(texasbc6) played against him in high school, so we are both somewhat eager to see how this kid does. good luck guys

Beckett was unreal in high school, fastball in the mid to upper 90's, very sharp hard curveball, needed work on his change. As I'm sure you all can imagine, but there were a dozen or more scouts at pretty much all of his games. His numbers in the minors so far looked like video game stats, his first start in the majors was shutout baseball (can't remember exactly how many innings). My point is that he definitely has the stuff to get the job done, and with such a low pressure situation as the one that is presenting itself tonight, he should be able to perform well once again. Lineup edge goes to Florida as well. Alfonseca threw an inning but should be available again today if the game is close late.

Once again, I think Florida is a VERY strong play tonight. GL guys!
