The Robins arrived today--100's of them them were in neighborhood --Robins arrival is stone cold absolute that we will be cutting grass within 3 weeks here. You can take it to the bank--despite the 20 degrees and fluries today.

I've seen robins all year. I also saw them migrating through (south) as late as January. Weird year!
Hell, we are probably not going to see grass until May. Lots and lots of snow on the ground.

Have never seen a robin in vegas:shrug: Nor bluejay,the wv state bird the great red cardinal. shit only rats with wings out here. Down in FL we have some great birds, Some might call it gay but I love watching birds. We do have a shit load of humming and mocking birds though.
