just a reminder for you die-hards. best show on tv starts tomorrow night at 9. fifth and final season they say. gonna be 23 episodes and go out with a bang. they haven't completely closed the books on a sixth season, but they pretty much are saying this is the final one, hence the extra episoes.

glen close is gone, except maybe a guest appearance and forest whitaker is taking over as the main bad guy.

not sure about tevan(sp?) he was supposed to be in last season and they said he was, but he never showed up.

if you've never seen the show, netflix or rent earlier seasons. you won't be disappointed.

bdb, absolutely love the series. i never watch network tv shows, but anything fx does gets a fair shot from me. the show is intense and i rate it up there with the sopranos.jmo

ripken, you can start tomorrow. most seasons have one central theme that they build on throughout the season. it will be more difficult because you will have missed all the character development and subplots with the strike team and past history, but you'll get the gist of it.

elvis, little al will find a way to draft the fastest guy out there who can't play a lick like always. was real suprised that got galley a few years back. howies got 2 other sons that both play ball. his middle kid is a 265 pound lineman as a sophmore.

So who is the Raider's new coach going to be? I have been an East Coast fan since before Bo got his hip pointer, but they draft like the Bengals use to and the Lions do now.... :cursin:

Ripken, I would suggest watching it from the start. There is a lot of past history that comes into play on pretty much every show. I would guess that Chiklis would be worth a pretty penny to a major network moving forward. He is awesome. I agree about Close, she was terrific.

Steve Billings gets promoted to captain. he's played by david marciano. He's been on previous episodes but hasn't been a major player.

i agree bdb, best show running. before each new season i go back thru and watch the previous one to refresh my memory. looking forward to it.
