Hey Dan, yep it opens on Wed. And I'll probably be there depending on the weather. Never missed opening day for 20 years but since they expanded the meet it doesn't mean that much anymore. When it was only 24 days we used to go every day. When they moved it to six weeks we backed off to 3-4 days a week. Good place to stay away from on the weekends. They pack the people in and can't handle the crowd. I'll just be watching for the first week to let them get a race over the track. Also watch the payoffs they seem to be a lot less here. It's a vacation stop and a lot of favorite betting.

Jerkins was known as the giant killer seems he could saddle a horse to beat the big favorite in a stakes race every year. Don't really know if he trains anymore he's gotta be getting up there in age.
