Ok so, now I want to know what you think a "trotter" is.

he had mentioned "gait" yes i had to look it up, don't really wager on horses

Gait - the pattern of how a person walks, many different types of walking problems occur without a persons control,

Don't read into things that don't exist.
The girl with both feet on the ground at the same time would be the trotter.
