2 disappointing weeks. I knew the Viking Classic would be difficult, for numerous reasons.
Congrats to the US for the win. The tour heads to Atlanta for an anti climatic finale. Vijay has the title locked up. Most of the Americans will have a huge let down and should be fatigued when heading to East Lake. Kenny Perry is one guy who was poppin pills, and after the biggest week of his life I can't see him being all that interested. Phil and Mahan played all 5 matches, so who knows with them. It should be interesting to say the least.

Allenby, Robert Furyk, Jim Perry, Kenny
Appleby, Stuart Garcia, Sergio Pettersson, Carl
Baird, Briny Hart, Dudley Romero, Andres
Campbell, Chad Imada, Ryuji Singh, Vijay
Choi, K.J. Immelman, Trevor Stricker, Steve
Cink, Stewart Kim, Anthony Sutherland, Kevin
Clark, Tim Leonard, Justin Trahan, D.J.
Curtis, Ben Mahan, Hunter Villegas, Camilo
Duke, Ken Mayfair, Billy Watson, Bubba
Els, Ernie Mickelson, Phil Weir, Mike

This is not a good betting tournament for myself. There's not enough golfers to make it interesting, sort of like last week. Regardless, I took----

Villegas to win 15.00 sia

This guy is hot, we all know that, and he's rested, unlike the Cup guys. Now that Camillo has won, I expect him to rachet it up a notch.

Round 1 play (2pts):

Jim Furyk to beat Anthony Kim -110 @ Five Dimes
Backing the old head against the excitable youngster in this Ryder Cup letdown week. Kim may have been outstanding against Garcia on Sunday, but was extremely inconsistent during the first two days and a limited field strokeplay event will be quite a letdown for Kim after his emotions of last week. Furyk was just as impressive on the course and is much more able to cope with the transition back to a normal strokeplay event

To win, come on can't I get more then one this season;

DJ Trahan 50-1
Hunter Mahan 18-1
Jim Furyk 11-1

Rooting for Furyk seeing as though he gave me some Ryder cup pins during the celebration.

Going with these 3 for round 2:

Choi -110 ov Weir
Cink -110 ov Stricker
Villegas -145 ov Romero

See if I can improve on my 1-2 record from yesterday

Vijay showed some signs of life on the back 9. He is the type of guy that is gonna continue to practice and not throw in the towel. Frankly, hes not out of the tournament at all. He missed a ton of putts yesterday, but that'll happen when you have 6 to 8 footers for par every hole.
