Got that right Mode, fumbles left and right, and they're still trying to hand the ball off-almost funny if so much money wasn't involved! I never learn my lesson either-I was on Atlanta last week and watched the hollywood good feel mini series play out, only to see Atlanta blow out Zona, what a joke! There's way too much money wagered for some element of fixing not to be involved, you just have to incorporate that into you decision making..

Gamblers have a big interest in this sport and the NFL knows this......thats why the announcers never fail mention O/U or spreads even in blow-outs..........remember when the 2nd games on Sunday used to start at 1:00 p.m.?? Too many gamblers still had money on the table from the early games, and nothing to bet with in the later games.....so what does the NFL do? Starts games at 1:15????? Why? I mean c'mon......15 minutes??? But it gave the gamblers enough time to cash their tickets then play the later games........Hmmmmmmm

There is still going to be one winner and one loser, you just have to think like that, why do some fade the public? And I'm not saying everyone is involved. I do believe moves that have a good chance to influence not as much as an outcome but a spread win/loss are made on certain games. It can be as simple as a call to change momentum or a non call to let it continue.

Westbrook and Green are the biggest reasons this game is well under right now.

That seems to be the reason so many good cappers jumped on the over-less running, and more passing usually means more clock stopage, longer games, more chances for big plays and leads to more points!

Or it means the coaches see the same thing all the over bettors are seeing and are taking away the deep ball. Everything is zone defense and quick passes underneath.... I doubled my under when i saw both RBs were out. The idea of a fix is ridiculous.. These players and coaches get paid way too much to risk it.

Bucky fumbling twice inside the 5 yard line? Take away 14 points right there, Westbrook would have been money in that spot. Ahman Green would have had some big plays, some of those GB field goals could very well of been been TD's.

Good point Gib, you are one of the few that thought that way, congrats...but read the threads! A majority thought just the opposite! Ridiculous is pretty strong, you put some greedy athletes in a given situation, and my feeling is, many times they'll cross the line.

What do ya mean!?

Some guy with a losing ticket cries about it in here every week!

:mj07: :mj07:

No doubt! This type of talk makes me nuts..

I swear both RBs go out so people start throwing money on the over... Lets think about this folks.. If your opponents starting RB is out.. are you going to stack the line to stop the run?? or are you going to try and take away the pass... If you have tivo go back to the 1st qtr.. Watch the QBs bounce around as their deep options are covered before they dump the ball off...
I swear some people are betting good money with out knowing a thing about the game...just throwing darts at a board
:sadwave:

YYZ, this is the only place you see it ever questioned, and granted it's probably due to someone losing money, the key is to have money on a game but also have the honesty to question when something doesn't smell right. I see you have a lot of posts so you have to be a huge fan, and when I say it's not talked about, I mean in the real world.
