You scripted a game... :mj07: This has to be the most retarded thing ever said on this site. Are you Vince McMahon? Please enlighten all of us which players make all of the mistakes.

I love guys like you. You think you have it all figured out but your basically clueless at what is going on around you. Let me leave you with this. about 15 maybe twenty years ago PBS did a documentary about this same subject. They had a guy following NFL owners. A bunch of them gathered at this compound in Florida. The camera man couldnt figure out what was going on. Guess who was also there? The heads of several Mafia families. Now you can call me what ever you want but this is public record. Ill ask you this if you can remove your blinders for a minute. What in the world would these two groups be doing together.

Could you please script us a game this weekend. I need a winner.

Plus, how does this help you script a winner. What a joke!

ive heard that about the pbs thing, didnt the guy following around the owners die and then the documentry was never aired? and wasnt, roger staughbach best friends with a bookie? Anyway the game we are all talking about defenitly wasnt fixed. Athletes make way too much money now days to fix games, although refs on the other hand it might be worth it.

It was aired (because i saw it) but i doubt you could get a copy of it because i tried a couple of years ago. As for the guy dying? I wouldn't doubt it. I know a few people who died because they came out with this kind of stuff. One right in my own backyard (newscaster). Its useless talking about this stuff because nothing will ever happen as for saying athletes make to much money? Phil Night of Nike use to make 50 million a year he moved overseas to make much more. But i look at this a different way. I don't say atheletes do this to make more money i say they do this because the are told to do it. Every year we hear the same thing about officials. "how can we make the officials better?" i know a simple solution. Take away the gambling and you will see much better officiating.

Years ago,"Touters" would "Script" games especially baseball to use in their pitches. If you had the ability to paste in probabilities, a scripter could do a good job. Las Vegas bookmakers and baseball managers do it all the time. just a take.

Thanks for the advice Sponge. Nice comeback and info too! I'd like to see the pbs special. Also didn't mean any disrespect to Gib. I'm usually pretty quiet on the site, like to read and learn a thing or two from the better cappers. I've been around gambling and sports for a good part of 30 years so it's not like I was speaking just to add to the post ledger-sometimes you get a know-it-all talking out the side of his mouth about anything just to be heard. But like HFK said, you have to think like a contrarian and incorporate that into your strategy. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, when it comes to gambling, most times you're better off betting it's a goose! There's more information out there now than there ever, stats, trends, latest injury reports, weather reports, but the lights of Vegas have never been brighter and take a glance at some off shore betting portfolios. The money is huge, if you want to make some money, invest in MGM, because before long my guess is they'll get the OK for internet gambling.

fixed is a strong word..but the people out there who think no game is ever tamperd with ,you probably believe in santaclaus also.
all the people and organasations that have already been busted in the last 30 years all over the world in sports where the players are making millions, just think about the ones that have never been caught.and the ones that have but have been kept in house so not to hurt their league.
some outcomes are tamperd with, thats a FACT.i dont think its many games (and i hope not)but these people pick their spots, and in some cases its done for good intension$.superbowl 3 for example.
if 1000's of people can die for oil,for the good of a counrty, its not that far fetched to think some games can be tamperd with for the good of the league.

The Pro Bowl is definately fixed or should I say tampered with. Why else do do you think they still play it? Nothing at stake but betting money.
