The Urine Test

Like a lot of folks in this country...I have a job. I work, they pay me.

I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a

Random urine test, with which I have no problem.



What I do have a problem wi th is the distribution of my taxes

To people who don't have to pass a urine test.


Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check

Because I have to pass one to earn it for them?


Please understand, I have no problem with

Helping people get back on their feet.



I do, on the other hand, have a problem with

Helping someone sitting on their butt and using drugs.


Could you imagine how much money the state would save

If people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? :SIB

I have the exact same thoughts. Some government programs are needed by certain people with various problems, but in order for these people to collect on the program funds a drug test should be required.

I couldn't agree more. I am not one to police people's activities, even drug use. Hell, especially drug use :weed: But, I feel an individual's right to spend money on illegal drugs should be taken away if they receive $$ from any of these entitlement programs.

No kidding... can you imagine making 80 year old Aunt Bertha randomly take a urine test to recieve her social security or disability check?

What about getting government money for your children? If you smoke weed and fail a drug test, then those benefits dissapear? Do the kids have to take urine tests?
Seems like this would cause more problems then it would solve.

Ultimately if we start making sacrificies to our privacies left and right, before long we will have problems much worse than poor people doing drugs.

This would solve most of the nations illegal drug use. I might have just placed sterotype... but maybe this sterotype is true?

I could be wrong... But I remember seeing some stats in a Crim class I have taken.

The goverment could just get Agent. Send him to every city. He could easily point out the freeloaders and drug users.
