That sucks but the solid day and hopefully night winner should make up for it a bit!

Good luck my man.

Great all in on the river. Very high level play after he shows weakness with river check after 3 betting turn when the river actually is a good card for his hand. #gotballs

Please explain how that is a good card for the guy with the 9-3 clubs? I'm a lil confused as I see it as one of the VERY worst I could imagine in that spot. Strong, bold play by Jord, I agree. But our agreement ends there. I'm curious to your thoughts?

Thanks,

Bill

It's a good card for the other guy as it misses all flushes and straights and pairs board with 10's which beat him before and make it less likely he has a 10. It also makes it more likely for the opponent (jord) to bluff as he misses everything and call it. Just my opinion.

I raised pre. It was a bad card for him and good one for me to bluff on because it counterfeited the board. Knocked out any of my bigger pairs and let my possible q10-a10 now become winners

Hahah. I read the board wrong!!!. Thought he just had a pair of 3's. Oops. No wonder I no longer play poker for a living!! My bad board!!

Let's go eagles.

His opponent already had 9's and 3's. It counterfeited his two pair. It definitely falls under the category of a bad card. Maybe you just misread the hand and thought he had just 9's?

Jordan Batt Eliminated by Jared Palmer

Jared Palmer raises to 8,500 from under-the-gun and Jordan Batt moves all in for about 30,500 from middle position. Palmer calls and the cards are tabled.

Batt is in great shape to double up with his against Batt's . The flop is and Batt leaves Palmer drawing thin to runners to make a straight or a flush. The turn is the , which gives Batt trips, but Palmer picks up a diamond draw. There were a few groans as the peels off on the river to give Palmer a flush and send Batt to the rail in 14th place.

Jared Palmer - 343,000

I think I run about 40/60 when I'm a 70/30 fave. Being a 94% favorite after the flop is always a fun way to lose too. Yay! Let's get back to capping
