I have my dvr set. Now that we switched we can dvr 5 at a time so I have sh*t ton of stuff in the schedule. I used to wait and see what a show would be like before bothering but now I just dvr whatever interests me at the preview commercial and if I don't care for the pilot then I'll delete it and move on.

I made it through 18 minutes...liked the kid and saw the obvious comparison to the heroine from "girl with the dragon tattoo"(same director.loved that movie)..he reminded me of a young willem Dafoe on Xanax(sounded just like him,imo...I really like Dafoe)....could have really liked the star here(excellent casting).......then this got preachy and political ,too...damned shame...

Hollywood just can`t seem to make shows without bludgeoning their audience with not-so-subliminal indoctrination(wall to wall caricatures and stereotypes) ...it`s fine occasionally...but it seems like it`s mandatory for every show...very tiresome....

having trouble hanging with true detective season 2,also...the same old "cops with baggage" crap...it`s become so hackneyed....Rachel mcadams` character is laugh out loud ridiculous(terrible casting)...

Did you watch the first season of "The Knick"? This is a program I seriously recommend. Think season 2 starts in August
