Go Habs Go!!
As reported by RDS, Jose Theodore will start in nets tonight against the Capitals. Speculations were that Garon would be the starter but Claude Julien announced it this afternoon.

Also not that Andreas Dackell, Marcel Hossa and Patrick Traverse will be scratched from the lineup.

This doesn't make sense on Montreals part since Garon does need to get at least 9 games in otherwise he becomes a free agent at the end of the year. This would have been a good spot to put him in, since he did shoutout WSH last time 2-0.
Usually you get the back-up in on the road also.

Go Habs Go!!
I agree with you VM. I'm not a big fan of Theodore these days and I believe that the Habs need their best goalie every night to make a run at the playoffs.

Regarding the free agency issue, nothing stops the Habs management from putting Garon as a starter for the beginning of the last whatever games he needs to get him to do at least 9 "starts" this season. Might sound crazy but this could happen if the Habs stay close to a playoff spot. :)
